Have it on good authority he is in the firing line to be delisted come season end. He was promoted on a 1 year deal only as reward/opportunity for the good signs he showed last season. With the a minimum 7 to be cut come season end, he wasnt given a 1 year deal for nothing.

I like him but that's the reality.
Interesting, thought he showed plenty last year, would have him at the Pies in a heartbeat.

And that is exactly why we have them on toast, ready for the taking. They will clearly underestimate us, much to their peril
You'll do well to keep it under 9/10 goals even if for some inexplicable reason we do happen to underestimate you ;)

Haha, didn't even realise it was TD that posted in here! Legend.

Just on Fox Footy news.....

Brown & Tarrant a good chance for the Suns game.

Swan for Melbourne.

Reid after the Bye.

If Brown and Tarrant are back in, plus the predicted rain it looks like Lynchy and Day might not have that much of an impact.

I hear what you are saying but i am hoping that 'in the firing line' doesn't mean his fate is completely sealed.

I thought Magin was good for the limited time he was on the field.

Late in the 3rd he gave an wonderfully slick handpass to Campbell Brown who kicked that goal that was denied as the siren was gone.

Then in the 4th he centered the ball into the square (Brown again i think??) which resulted in a goal.

I hope he doesn't get dropped and gets a full game this week.

We hardly put you guys to the sword last year when we were beating everyone else by 60+.

Reckon it will be closer then most think with pies running away in the last.

Pies by 40.

Plenty of things different this game. Us playing away for one.

If we can keep the margin to 40 without the likes of Swallow or Bock, then I'd be very happy.

Can someone explain to me what the line means? Never understood that.

I think I did this in another thread somewhere?

The line is basically what the bookie thinks the winning margin will be. It's also referred to as a handicap as well.

So Collingwood's line is -64.5 points paying $1.92 - Collingwood would need to win by 65 points or more (because of the half point) for you to win your bet.

On the other shoe, Gold Coast is +64.5 - Gold Coast have a +64.5 point head start (handicap). If Collingwood win by 64 points or less, you would win your line bet on the Gold Coast by 0.5 points. If Gold Coast win well you obviously win the bet as well as they have a 64.5 point head start.

Hope that makes sense?

Can someone fill me in as to why Aaron Hall became out of favour ? For mine he's cle:confused:arly in the Suns best 22.

Hally isnt out of favour. He was rested the week after the Brisbane game and its taken a while for him to get form back. Started to look dangerous again at 2s level and named as the emergency last week but was replaced because he fell ill.

Probably in line for a couple of more game in the 2s after he gets better before looking at senior selection again. I would expect him back after the bye.

The only change I would make is to bring in May for Taylor.

I still think Taylor hasn't quite made the jump quite yet. I have faith he can do it, but needs to string some quality games together in the 2s. Get confidence up.

With May now fit, firing and available for selection, Taylor coming out is the logical selection for mine.

Though it wouldn't surprise me if they brought May in through the twos first. Just to get him some touch and all that. He has been gone for a while now.

Weller also might be an in for Wilkinson. Both are similar sorts, and with Mav showing great form in the 2s along with Wilko looked off his game last week, could be a change we see.

Seems to be unlikely that there will be any changes this week, unless some people cannot get up or there is injury.

Bluey also noted that Hunt hit the wall last week due to the Darwin trip, which is why he was subbed off. I wonder if any other players were affected too?

The 8 day rest will do good stuff for the team.

Story here.

His disposal/composure isn't great. He is looking good in the 2s though. I suspect he will get more games before the year is up.

agree...he found the step up to be.... well....a big step up
Hopefully he'll find some composure.
The sort of player that would do very well in a good side...unfortunately there is nowhere to hide in our team...a bad thing...and a good thing
