Interesting to see very short backline.

Hawthorn minus one KPP (Dowler) and Adelaide plus one KPP (Bock).

No use of the third ruckman this time around for the Hawks.

I missed the first Crows goal, but their next 4 all came from Hawthorn errors.

Takes Rioli kicking goal of the year to get our second. 37-13 to the Crows late in the first. It's the usual problem, opposition is kicking to one-on-ones with our players outmatched (Walker on Ellis??) but when we go forward it's 3 on 1.

Our backline is very very ordinary.

Ellis shouldn't be playing, Campbell is as soft as they come...how can he go to ground so often? The midfield has been smashed. Taylor is busting his guts and only Lewis is helping him. Poor start, our percentage is going to be bad after today.

A little better in the second, but we're constantly missing targets and that is utterly killing us. It would be interesting (if painful) to see the "goals from turnovers" stat at the end of the game.

So far, woeful game. Adelaide are walking all over us. Our team in every area are all struggling and certain players look as if they have never played footy. Well done RIOLI. Woeful Hawthorn.

Cant win if we cant hit targets in the last line. Guerra to Mitchell, missed kick, Adelaide goal and then Whitecross does the same thing, kicks to the true CHF position for Adelaide, kick is poor, turn over..goal.

Stopped watching.

Rioli is magic though :thumbsu:
