Game like that usually spells a few changes.
Then you check the cupboard.

Out: caldwell (inj), shiel (give him a break to clear the head. No vfl. Just a week away), waterman
In: jones, baldwin, zerk

Laverde zerk kelly
Ridley reid francis
Redman heppell mcgrath
Perkins jones martin
Baldwin wright guelfi
Draper parish merrett
Hobbs bryan durham hind
Cutler

8 defenders but given we push laverde and reid up the ground, francis and ridley are better options. Hind, redman, kelly, mcgrath push back.
Redman is such a weapon close to goal too. Get his run more into the game.
More defenders = more defence yeah?

Heppell on the ball. Put him on cotchin.
He cracks in and i cant fault him for that and he needs to lead from where the issues are starting

That forward line is ahaping as our future. Get them playing together.

Ridley Reid Kelly
Redman Laverde Hind
Merrett Parish Shiel
Perkins Francis Martin
Guelfi Wright Wanganeen

Draper Heppell Hobbs

Durham Cutlet McGrath Bryan

And the150th party rolls on...hope the board have a super keen eye on this one!

Could actually see them capitulate here. And no team would enjoy it more. Richmond to be accurate where Sydney weren't - 80 points plus in front of 80k.

Watching a 34-year-old Ryder play for St Kilda, he has become such a better player than he was at Essendon, the guy is exactly what we needed over the last 14 years. Why couldn't we get this sort of effort from him?
Nank is going to destroy our rucks.

Agree on Ryder but can’t blame him for looking after himself and his family when the saga went down. Also agree Nank could wreak havoc - I’d be inclined to bring in Phillips for Bryan, and give Wanga a run for Dreamtime

OUT: Bryan, Francis, Caldwell, Cutler (SUB)
IN: Phillips, Cox, Wanga, Waterman

Team;-

Laverde Reid Kelly
Redman Ridley Hind
Durham Hobbs Merrett
Martin Cox Guelfi
Waterman 2MP Wanga

Draper Parish McGrath

Bench: Shiel Perkins Heppell Phillips
SUB: Cutler

Ryder was elite from 2011-2014 for us, he was only young in terms of a ruckman when he left. He would’ve only got better.

Dreamtime at the G

Richmond- Rioli, Rioli Jnr, Bolton, Edwards, Pickett

Essendon-

This could be a really embarrassing night in a couple of ways.
Pickett is suspended
