Probably, I'd guess we're just seeing if there's any signs of life.

I'd probably rather him playing ahead of any of the listed emergencies, just in case something clicks - the second half of the year/after the bye doesn't bode well for him, I can't see him getting a game if all of Stringer, Langford, Jones & Snelling are back. I think he needs to really show something in the next couple of weeks that'd force Truck to keep him in the 22 - otherwise he's got to be a huge chance to be delisted at years end. I like him and hope he makes it, but he's had more than enough changes now.

No, good point - but I think he's sort of there as a real break-glass type, right? I'd rather see Jones play the next two games at VFL level, then back into the seniors after the bye. Probably my favourite player on the list (Jones), would just rather make sure he's right to go.

I agree. However I would have liked to see Baldwin and Bryan compete for the spot that Jones will probably take after the bye.

Fletch had some massive opponents as a kid with similar build. Trust and belief in Reid would be similar?
Only Reid doesn't have many hard nuts around him like Fletch did.

Lynch is also not really a stand a wrestle guy, which could help Reid a little bit. All depends on the pressure upfield
