Definitely going to get Chapman next week.

Probably go Tapscott - Lynch and then Darling - Chapman but considering upgrading both Tapscott and Darling to Fyfe and Chapman and foregoing Lynch. My forwardline is absolutely fill with 'there abouts' inconsistent scorers like Petrie, Knights, Darling, J.Riewoldt so need to do something about that in the coming weeks. I really like the look of Lynch but probably need scoring power ASAP. Need to work out what to do with all my middle of range forwards. If i pass on Lynch I may need to cash in more of them because I have some very iffy cash cows in Thompson, Toy, Prestia, Richardson (may be back this week), Bewick (confident in him as long as Voss plays him) to deal with although I plan to keep a couple of them. I still have a few cows ripe to be traded in Harris, Stanley and Smith, Iles will be traded soon too but if I don't get Lynch i'm worried about poor downgrading options in future.

$440k in the bank now so lots of options but plenty to consider. Leaning towards safer option of Darling - Chapman, Tapscott - Lynch at this stage though.

ive got 377k in the bank, and would love to get some premiums in this week, but all my cash cows have 1 more big rise in them. But there are 3 or 4 good downgrade options as well.

What to do?

OUT - Cam Richardson & David Swallow

IN - Ian Callinan & Gary Ablett jnr

Then moved Callinan to the midfield & Mitch Duncan to my forwardline seeing how Tapscott will be out for 2-3 weeks with a Hamstring.

Glad now my Forwardline is fixed up with no clear rank players.

Just hope my defence can hold up like they did this week so I have no need to use anymore trades other than if/when Long Term Injuries happen

Barring Injuries this week will likely do

Darling -> T.Lynch
Atley -> Ablett

Am fairly confident i have the forward depth to cover Darling's loss and not sure how much cash he has left to make, leaving my fwds at Buddy/Sylvia/Stevie J/Goodes/N.Roo/Cloke/Krak and T.Lynch/Prestia/McKernan on the bench.

Will also complete my Mids with Swan/Pendles/Boyd/Jelwood/Watson/Ablett with a mix of Mzungu/D.Harris/Bewick on the bench.

Team has fallen apart this past fortnight. Dropped from 1000 to 6500 in two weeks. :(

Not sure what's happened but this week will probably do:
Curnow - Jacobs
Matera - Lynch
to finance two big upgrades next week.

Dawes, Didak, Higgins have been disastrous. Will persevere with Didak but the other two are giving me big headaches. Knights and Darling performing just as well or better.

Hmmm, will be a tricky week for me. I did two downgrades last week. I have 289,600 in the bank.

However, I am tempted to do another two downgrades this week
Liberatore>Jacobs
Tapscott>Lynch

Or I coul miss out on Jacobs and upgrade Libba to a premium. Or ignore Lynch and upgrade Tapscott. Need to investigate the options. Montagna is calling me.

Atley -> B. Jacobs
Tapscott -> Chapman

got the cash difference in the bank
was gonna do the trade last week ... but Chapman had such a high BE .. and who knew Tappers woulda got injured

Ranking has dropped ... from 30th .. to 200 :(

only got 2167 this week .. which in a normal week woulda been alright .. such a high scoring round .. my league opponent had friggin Shuey lol

Depending on selections and b/e scores

bewick --> mzungu/i.smith
harris/liberatore/curnow --> pendlebury (wait til the following week if b/e is still high)

im in the same boat, with 377k in the bank. Would love to do the following:
Stanley > Scotland
Tapscott > Chapman.

But the downgrade options of Lynch and I.Smith are also tempting. Not sure what to do just yet. Am already 900 points behind the overall leader who has 19 keepers. I should start upgrading now if i want to keep in touch.

1st time trading before friday already gone:

1. Delidio in to mids and DPP for heppell, into def.
out: Bartel!

2. Scotland IN
out: think it was Stanley, on ya bike son. P.O.

bit of a gut reaction but trading is never easy at any time so trying a new format.
Reasoning; bartel is leaking points and needed lids anyhow, only way to afford him offload a mid and DPP him back to where he belongs. utilising my mpp link which is what the games about.

brought in anopther gun MPP player in scvottylland, starting in def sure to rip off some tons each week down back, safe as nails.

bolstered my def by two guns, big week for the hax, and big things expected in the coming few weeks expecting a move back in to the top 200.

I post here as break evens are important to trading.

I usually get from fanfooty but am worried when I see things like Sylvia BE 136, Score 96. (+4900)

Is there a more accurate place.

Anyway I will prob look at doing the most popular trade in fantasy this week.

Out: Tapscott

In: the real Tom Lynch

Then despite a supposed 128 BE can't pass up Chappy against Gold Coast. Prob for Matera.

NO !

What I have learnt over the years of playing Dreamteam is that you must SELECTIVELY PICK AND CHOOSE your rookies. You have to get into the mindset that you can not get all of them.

I know it's tempting to go for them all - but in all seriousness - you are guaranteed to dig yourself into a hole, trades are absolutely golden and to trade in and out all the rookies performing well to premiums absolutely thrashes your trades.

Doesnt matter how much cash can potentially be made, if you don't budget your trades then having all that spare cash is useless. First 2 years of Dreamteam I thought I was doing great - until the business end of the season rolls on around and I have a bench full of bloated cash cows and/or injured premiums - with no trades left!

anyway just some advice .. pick and choose and dont go for them all, I have left Hibberd and I. Smith out of my plans, for example, this year. Currently ranked 200th .. down from 30th last week :( .. took a beating from Tappy

so is your advice to bring in 2 premiums?

so is your advice to bring in 2 premiums?

yep I'd say so .. or at the very least 1 ... If u have 15 or more trades left .. get 1 .. less than 15 .. for sure .. get 2 .. best for you to have them on the park and scoring for u than potential points in the form of cash in your bank

Have decided i will do

Petrie - Fyfe
then its a question of either
Knights - Chapman
or
Heppell - Scotland

Which ever one isnt done now, will be done in about 3 weeks i'd say (got curnow on the back burner still, for next week after harris rises once more)

Dunno why you would trade out Petrie now after his 125? .. At the least I wouldnt trade him until Freo and West Coasts 2nd bye .. that is If your rucks are Sandi n Cox? and that u have DPP with J. Tippet so u can swap him between forward and ruck
