SuperCoach Dilmena: I can either make the following trades

Out: D Smith and A Hall (obviously on the bench)
In: N Dal Santo and A Black

OR

Out: B Ellis and K Horsley
In: Pendles and J Bootsma

Which option would you guys take?

Pendlebury. A must have by seasons end.

Although parting with Horsely a bit early could hurt. And don't really like Bootsma's JS

it's about 300 dollars a point and is based on him not going big against the Suns, i'd jump on him this week.

thanks - think i will

Definitely go the points. I'm thinking of this trade too, but have more concerns about the $330k for one upgrade when it could get me 1.5 upgrades used elsewhere by spending $200k on Tippett.

Edit: Ugh, bye issues. Maybe $230k for Zaharakis instead as I'm currently sitting on only one forward with a wk 12 bye.

cheers mate appreciate the feedback

i think Sidebottom is a must have this year. already have Zaha and not quite sure on Tippett.

Biggest issue for me is where to upgrade this week..........appreciate help.

I don't care about overall, i'm going for league (currently only 2 losses). Bye doesn't phase me either.

Deledio Goddard Scotland Enright Broughton Lake Morris (Ellis, Townsend)

Ablett Pendles J.Selwood Boyd Hayes Horsley (McDonald, Zorko)

Sandi Gilles (Jenkins, Redden)

Franklin Sidebottom Martin S.Johnson Lewis Trealor Adams (Smith, Hall)

Currently have A.Kennedy > Sidebottom at the moment.

98k left in bank and 11 trades.

Was originally going to finish my backline off, but my forwards looked weaker so needed to add a bit in there. If i keep Kennedy i have about 490ish to spend, could there be double upgrades anywhere?

You could go Morris > Waters, Kennedy > Robinson

You still have a few upgrades to make in the fwd line so you could bring in Sidebottom later on (Surely he's due for a low score which will bring his price down!!)

He gets advice...i get ridicule
Thx all

Bugg>Deledio
Porps>Cotchin

Team, with 12 trades remaining:

Deledio, Goddard, Waters, Scotland, Broughton, Malceski, Clarke, Ellis

Pendlebury, Thompson, Boyd, Cotchin, J.Selwood, Horsley, McDonald, Phieffer

Giles, Kruezer, Stephenson, Redden

Dangerfield, Franklin, Zaharakis, Beams, Johnson, Martin, Treloar, Zorko, Milera

Starting to get hard, top 300 next week. :thumbsu:

trading porps this week, have 508k to spend. weighing up either johnson or robinson, thoughts?

here is the rest of my forwards if it helps

franklin, chapman, martin, rioli, beams, porps, treloar (dickson, zorko)

Any good defensive rookie prospects? Bootsma looks OK but don't think he will hold his spot based on his haircut.

On a serious note: Should I get rid of Cloke for Sidebottom? Might backfire if Cloke fires against GC/Melb though. FMSC.

Would love to have this answer as well..

Currently juggling 3 Rookies of Ellis, Spurr and S Darley - all who either start as a sub or end up being a sub. Just looking to have my backline permanently sorted as there is lack of DEF/MID's in the pool this year. Could look to get Silvagne?

I would. Cannot trust Cloke as a KPF and Sidebottom is a must have by season's end. Even with Ball back in the picture later on I can't see Sidey's scoring decrease too much if at all. Cloke has not tonned up since round 4 and has only done so twice this season. Lock it in.

With 12 trades left, am thinking
OUT: Bugg, Morris
IN: Darley, Scotland

Bugg and Morris seem to have peaked, but I'm not sure on Darley? Will have to play either him, Ellis or Tomlinson (lol) as D7. Scotland is the best defender I can afford (have Lids, Goddard and Waters) but am looking at Hurn as a somewhat cheaper option? Don't care about the byes at all, have not had a strategy all year in fear of compromising my trade decisions - focused on the end of the year.

Tl;dr - Will Darley play and score well? And is it the right time to hop off Bugg and Morris?

In: Nick Dal Santo

Out: Who out of Devon Smith, Magner or Shiel?

Or should I trade out M. Clarke instead? Oh decisions. Alternatively I could do no trades at all? Help appreciated, thank you :)

I don't feel comfortable downgrading Morris > Darley due to Darley's unknown job security.

I would rather upgrade Morris to a premium which is why I am going to do -

Porplyzia > Couch and Morris > Scotland

Porplyzia was my 7th forward but I am taking Zorko the Magnificent off the midfield bench (swap with Couch) and make Zorko my 7th forward.

Zorko has been scoring better than Porplyzia anyways and I only need him to fill in as F7 for 4-5 weeks when Horsley/McDonald are nice and plump. I will then upgrade one of them to Goodes and then swap Goodes with Zorko and Have Goodes as my 7th forward.

I think I have thought about this way too much at work the last couple of days to be honest. :p

couch may hurt you during the bye rounds, if he plays he is great simply due to being so cheap........

Why are you uncomfortable with Darley but okay with Couch who can't get a game at Melbourne?

Just have a feeling that Couch will get a game soon due to Melbourne being so pathetic and terrible.

He keeps banging at the door nearly ever week at Casey Scorpions and is in the best players nearly every week too.

I remember watching him in the NAB Cup and being impressed with his tackling, hunger for the ball and for having a real dip. Melbourne could do with all those 3 things at the moment. :D:thumbsu:

I reckon once Couch gets into the seniors he will cement his spot. Melbourne has less of a revolving door than GWS aswell. :thumbsu:

Thinking

Bugg>Enright
Murphy>Zorko (missed his initial price rise but looks like he will rising for a while anyway)

Currently have 14 trades but only $800 so it frees up some cash for future upgrades

Would mean i would still have to upgrade 2 defenders, 1 midfielder and 1 forward to make my team complete

My current trades for this round (assuming Christensen back and Crameri out)
Surjan for Darley and
Crameri for Zorko

How does it sound?
Building to get some guy...
Jerry Ablett I think it is, or maybe Priddus

Wow your a comedic genius!! I bet your the type of bloke that laughs at your own jokes. Lame

This week
Coniglio>Zorko
Bugg>Scotland

Next week
M Murphy>Priddis

Team:
Deledio, Goddard, Scotland, Shaw, Lake, Clarke, Malceski
subs: Mohr, Ellis

Ablett, Boyd, Mitchell, Dal Santo, Priddis, Horsley
subs: McDonald, Zorko

Cox, Giles
subs: Stephenson, Redden

Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Franklin, N Riewoldt, Pavlich, Porplyzia, Treloar
subs: AKennedy, Hall

will leave me with 12 trades that i will hold on to unless injuries or Pendles drops massively in price

Time for some big calls.

Giles OUT Pattison IN (Unlocks the Roughead MPP, gives the most cash)

Magner OUT...

Getting in a mid, can afford any of them. Ablett, Kennedy, Stanton? Who should I go? I will need one more upgrade for the mid after this one.

Thinking I will go Kennedy this round, then Ablett in next. Of course I could go left-field and try for a cut price Mitchell and hope he returns to form...

Choose Ablett.

Side is currently:

Deledio, Goddard, Lake, Heppell, Dempsey, Malceski, Delaney, Ellis, Wilkes
Pendlebury, Watson, Ablett, Dal Santo, Gibbs :)(), Treloar, McDonald, Hampton
Sandilands, Ryder, Pattison, Redden
Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Franklin, Zaharakis, Roughead, Johnson, Martin, Adams, Hall
