Wet weather suits our game plan and we should definitely consider turning the sprinklers on before our games a la St Kilda at Moorabbin in the 80s.

Wet weather might well be kryptonite for Fremantle also.

Fremantle have been viewed as a quick running team this year while we hope to move the ball quickly by hand and foot.

Alas often it comes down to contested ball, pressure and keeping it simple when deciding who wins in the wet.

So far Fremantle are winning the contested ball battle, Collingwood the tackle count while if we play the way McRae seemingly wants we'll mimic Richmond and look to just keep the ball moving forward even if it's not pretty.
