Had Jelly in instead of Whitfield a couple times and picked Whitfield in the end. Will cost me my game. Ugh, this season is just not going my way no matter how much i fight it and try to keep doing the right things

So for the peoples that watched the Melbourne game, did Brayshaw actually perform. Did he look better? Score ok but not awful, not awesome. Doesn’t seem like he is back purely off the score but are there any good signs?

I didn’t see the game but read a few things about him appearing to chase a lot harder than he has previously this season. Also appeared to have his old mid role back apparently. Trav 20 thoughts?

I'm not privy to the stats, but he still didn't appear to lineup in the centre square a lot, or as much as last year (from round 7 onwards). He was also fumbly, but that may have been the dew.

His role still appears to be more outside. I could watch the replay to give a more definitive answer, but don't feel inclined to.

Appreciate your insight mate :thumbsu:

Thanks man. That’s pretty much what I would have guessed. I too could watch the replay, but.....nah.

Doesn’t seem to be going anyone’s way unfortunately! Carnage each week

Looking back, what are our worst weeks of trades in hindsight?
For me, it's definitely been my trades post Round 1.

Miers + Hore > Parker + BScott
That's right, I traded out Miers (who would go on to have 3 90+ scores) and Hore (who would go on to have 4 80+ scores) in exchange for Parker (average of 50) and BScott (who averaged 39 and got dropped after I got him). I thought I was fixing my rookies by turning Miers' 45 and Hore's 42 into BScott's 97 and Parker's 83. I forgot to account for the fact that you never win when it comes to rookie roulette...

Feels funny before games on a Sunday already knowing you have a good score. Should push 2300.

Will be one of my best scores with my lowest captain score for the year so go figure...

Brayshaw was better, he was more involved, chased more, tackled more and was in the centre square on a few occasions.

I won’t be bringing him in, I think he still has value to drop - but might do it after the byes if he shows signs this wasn’t a one off...

I traded Taranto in round 3. I never had Miers so I can't feel that hurt you've had. Speaking of trades this week... Sloane... I haven't made any sideways trades from memory this year... this will be my first (but can't really call it sideways if it's an injury can you?), but I'll be trading him to the flavour of the week - Cogs. Feel like I've seen this movie before.. cough.. Whitfield.. cough :'(

Surely there’s an Adelaide fan who would watch for us? chloedarko
Watching last night it looked like the last quarter as the time was running out, he kicked into gear. I’d still wait for another good score from him though. Can’t have a last quarter effort and not much else!

Sloane injury also didn’t look to bad so may not be the automatic trade I thought it would be. Pays not to think the worst sometimes and actually look. Will be scraping for round 12 18 players but so who knows yet.
