Torn between a few options:
Option 1: Jacobs + TKelly > TSmith + Grundy
Pros: No Jacobs, Grundy top 2 ruck, TKelly running out of steam?
Cons: No bank left, Wasting money on a premo "upgrade", Byes sort of an issue, TKelly still the best rookie?
Option 2: Jacobs + Stephenson > TSmith + Ryder
Pros: Ryder for all byes, No Jacobs, Keep TKelly
Cons: Ryder is worse than Grundy atm, Still a waste of money
Option 3: Stephenson + Murphy > Walters + Rice
Pros: Rookie upgrade, Walters is a bargain, Murphy unlikely to get a game?
Cons: Jacobs, No TSmith, Is Walters a premo?, Byes
Option 4: Murphy + Stephenson > Rice + TSmith
Pros: Build bank
Cons: Jacobs, Less premos

Any advice? Leaning Option 1 at the moment but not entirely sure.

Nothing is a waste of money getting rid of Jacobs

Just looking at the match-ups next week and while trading in a premo FWD would be best for my team structure, I wonder if a DEF wouldn't work better as the FWD rookies could all score well:

Fritsch & Smith against the Dogs, with the latter getting some hit-outs... And Ronke getting some cheap goals against the Bluws!

But after today, Walters' value may just be too good to ignore.

I won't be doing that because it's not my only way... But if it is, I'd say "yes" because they're probably going to be going up in $$$ the same over the next few weeks and Walters will score you more and has a much higher ceiling.

This is presuming that your rd-14 bye isn't looking too disastrous (7 premos is my limit for that round).

Hmmm. I was originally going to do a double downgrade this week to bulk up my bank for upgrades during the byes. Now im thinking 1 up 1 down.

Telly to Smith is definite, not sure what to do with my second trade. Was thinking Cole > Ridley/Rice but might upgrade him to a preo DEF instead. Would it be stupid to trade Yeo in this week? If I do this is how my side will look and he would be replacing Cole so won't change my bye structure

Yeah, I wouldn't be doing the double downgrade... It's either:

(a) Cole > Yeo, or
(b) Cole > Maclean (moving Sicily to DEF), or
(c) Cole > Danger (moving Sicily to DEF & Walters to FWD)

Yep, to a lesser extent, me too. And the big problem is that the director is Woosha… And he has a big star called Hurley reading the script

Someone will ask Woosha about Ridley mid-week and all that smug campaigner will answer with is: "What do you think?"

Nice. We potentially have Heron and Austin as useful bubble boys downgrades for round 12.

Not sure if there are any bubble boys on the horizon for rounds 13 and 14 though?

My mids 1 to 8 are currently Fyfe, Danger, Cripps, Treloar, JKelly, TMitch, Coniglio, ZMerrett, so for this stage of the season pretty strong, and I plan to get in Macrae with one of my last trades.

Is Dusty a must have? His current price is tasty.
