Cheers for the help thus far. Seems as if my desire to bring in Roma is wacky to all the Supercoach G’s around here.

So the Reeves vs Flynn debate again.
The cash generation is awesome by making the move.
And it seems Reeves will be in amongst the Hawks team for the most part, equal or more so than Flynn.

Ultimately though; my current forwards include: Rowe, Weightman, Waterman & Treacy.
I started with Treacy, all over 6PR footy radio prior to start of year and admittedly had not much clue about some other rookies.
Treacy should remain in the side, but given his pathetic scores is hardly cover if Maxy or Grundy miss a couple of weeks, and right now I’m taking Weightman as my F7 after upgrading Rowe (after the Adelaide bye) leaving Waterman as F8.

So my options are
  1. I’d need to trade out one of Waterman or Treacy (for no cash, burn a trade which may be a 50/50 trade) to have respectable cover in F7
  2. Sell Flynn to Reeves and then Reeves to Dangerfield or something along those lines after the final bye round, leaving me stuck with Treacy as R3
  3. Go back to the Roma as R3/F6 together due to DPP (everyone think that’s nuts – and fair enough…)

Just wondering if I should go Parish or Steele. Hmmmm... Parish has exploded, but is it sustainable??? Steele has been quietly good in a very average Saints side. One with 4% ownership, the other with 25% +

Can't go wrong with either tbh

Which bye needs help, rd13 or 14?

Saints' fixture opens up a bit, so the Saints will win a few, which will help his scoring

Parish a handy POD though, so I'd grab him for the POD factor

Nothing to suggest Parish won't keep up his form. 5 weeks in a row after a role shift is a good enough sample size for me.

If Truck and the club had any sense they would keep him in the guts .
He's miles better than Shiel.

Steele is a bit more proven. I don't see how Parish slows down with Shiel out of the year. Can't go wrong with both honestly.

R13 is basically F**ed so basically writing that one off...

Will the role shift change again though, Essendon supporter?

There is no way in hell he ever moves out of the midfield unless he becomes shit. We've been dying for an inside mid like Parish since Jobe retired - I'm pretty sure the supporters would burn down Tullamarine if Parish got moved out of the middle.

Shiel probably wont be back this year, or wont be until very late this year, same with Caldwell, and neither of them will push Parish out.

Also for more context around Parish. He was taken 1 pick behind Clayton Oliver. Essendon really wanted Clayton Oliver & Melbourne knew that so they traded ahead of us to get that pick. We took Parish because as a jr he played like Oliver. For some ****ing reason Woosha played him as a half forward his entire career, and now Truck has give Parish a proper go in the middle and what do you know, he's playing almost exactly like Oliver (albeit just a lot less developed).

I may have mis-read it, but the games are going ahead but the Vic teams whom are I presume are covid free are in lockdown so they don't get it from anyone else?

Ah right..so sort of like being in a bubble/hub? ...I assume they can can still train together?

What about SuperCoach - The Game on PS5?
Judd_Magic could discover cheats for unlimited trades.
Extreme difficulty levels like starting your season with Dom Tyson, Paddy Dow, DeGoey on field and ROB over Max in the ruck & fighting your way back. Actually I’m playing that game right now🤪🤪

Haha. The JM cheat code definitely has to be thrown in for unlimited trades. Plus you get points for the different types of Roughy manouvers that you can pull off during a season.

Thats how I read it. Wouldn't make any sense Vic teams are already off flying. AFL getting ahead of the vic goverment.

I heard on the radio that the Vic jockeys are all escaping today so they can ride in the Qld Cup. Probably not the best way to contain a pandemic though, letting the sports people get out before travel restrictions kick in...

Parish is competing with Waterman as well now in the middle.....

I thought they were exempt because its their job? Even so I would hope they get tested before travelling.
