Locked in Scott > Madden and Jordon > Petracca

Was tempted by Cerra being cheaper but I think he could be a trap with Freo having Dr Nick Riviera in charge of their medical department.

I've got burnt so many times picking Freo players the last few years with them copping injuries along with dodgy rehabs so I try to avoid them now.

Melbourne look like they have their shit together better than Freo both off field and on field and Petracca is a bull that is virtually injury proof.

Who's like to take Madden spot ..are we worried .

Not sure but we've got Neale and Lester best 22 both back after the bye at latest, Answerth will play a practice match against Suns this week and Berry will work his way back into the 22 after a few VFL games when his groin is good to go. Gonna be tight. I'm getting him but it's so I can get Piggy. Don't expect him to hold his spot for too long but who knows? He's been good and Lions need speed.

Everybody forgetting that Weightman will get rolled by Trent Rivers the absolute unit tonight. Can't wait for him to shit out a 20 and be dropped in two weeks.

lol look out tonight Trac, you've been jinxed.

So you saying the flea river will run dry ... :moustache: .

R13 looks very rough especially if you're already bringing in McCluggage as a sure thing - Walsh/Macrae/Luggage/RCD all missing in the mids not to mention you've got 3 other Bris players who are going to be missing on other lines. Ridley/Short gone then as well. Rules out Zerrett for me (can bring him in R14 if you're keen). R14 you'd also be missing Steele/Laird/Trac but at first glance at the rest of your team it looks like R14 isn't horrible.

Would go one of the R12 mids if it was me. Personally don't trust Jelly either but he does have the capacity to go very large and doesn't need 50 touches to score well like Titch
I was initially leaning towards Touk Miller instead of McLuggage but Brisbane's run at home swayed me. But going back to Miller would help the bye situation.

Going Weightman over Madden - just don't want to miss the boat if Weightman is somehow breaking out.

If Madden goes alright again.. he should be around 170k and could still consider him. Can always get CCJ after the bye as well.

Madden to get homesick after round 12 and head back to Ireland. :moustache: :moustache:

I’d probably be inclined to go Touk > Luggage not just for the byes but for the ever-creeping shadow of Lachie Neale coming back who will likely push the Suitcase out of the centre square a bit - whereas Touk is the Suns’ number 1 mid and that’s not changing. Tough call though

With Petracca's inclusion my midfield is complete with McGrath now holding down M8, no Piggy Oliver though which is a worry.

Forwards are complete too with Heeney at F6 and I have the set and forget ruck combo with Gawndy and cash cow Flynn as back up.

My backline is streaky as f*** though with Hunter Clark injured so I'm relying on a combo of Jiath, Kosi, Highmore and Murphy for D4, D5 and D6.

Yeah no doubt he will cop a season ending injury now, I jinxed Danger, Butters and Dunkley when I traded them into my forward line.

Thoughts here?

Could double upgrade Jordan/Bergman to Heeney/Walsh, but maybe better to get another sighter on Heeney, and looks to get Madden in and really consolidate cash for future upgrades..

Thoughts on what I could/should go with?

Still trying to get my head around it!

OPTION 1:
Jordan>Bont/Lyons
Scott>Madden (or Weightman)

OPTION 2:
Jordan>Walsh
Scott>Heeney

Would love to hear any pros and cons on these two?!

Some Melb kent said that about fathead Rowe last week. Kicked 2, had 18 touches in a good win.

OK, lots of thinking time....
Scott to Heeney (just soooo cheap, and probably a premo?!?)
McNeil to Weightman (via Zorko to mids).

It does improve my R13 (16 to now 17 players). was going to be Warner out - but he will be better than McNeil in the byes...

Well it’s the end of the week and I’ve running around in trade circles still.

Learning towards
Scott-Bianco
Jiath-Laird

Put Laird into Mids and Bianco on bench down back with Manchild on.

Figure I could lose 20-30 points max from fielding a rookie down back overJiath but go +50by getting a mid rookie off ground with Laird on.

I like option 2.

Walsh underpriced for what he is capable of and heeney (injury permitting, and buddy's health) a real chance to be top 6 fwd from here on.

I'm with you on this one, Rivers is a star in the making.
You redo the 2019 draft and we got Rowell and Anderson 1 and 2, Jackson 3, Pickett 4, Serong 5, Green 6, Ash 7, Day 8, Georgiades 9, Rivers 10. Super draft and we stole a star at 32.
