I have a mate who pulled out of a business trip today because he would have to quarantine over there. AFL players would be no different. Hopefully we can find a way but we need to be prepared for the likelihood of interruptions.

Players are different. They have chartered flights and can get moved straight to a hotel.

Story this morning says Vic visitors to WA have to quarantine until they return a negative result. So, we travel early then quarantine? Can get a result in a day and should be good to go on Saturday, no?

With every passing hour it looks more likely tougher restrictions will be in place in Victoria by the weekend. Can't see this game going ahead in WA this weekend.

Under government guidelines, they’ll be tested upon arrival and isolate until they receive negative results ahead of Saturday’s clash with West Coast.

I think it's pretty simple. The players leave early (possibly today), isolate, return a negative and then stay in Perth to play on Saturday. No need to move the fixture.

Ironically, that suits us. West Coast rely on marks inside 50 and ball control.

A slop might actually allow us a chance.

Dunno, they’re a lot bigger then us through the midfield. Also, we don’t have a great track record in the wet... but you never know

Yeah the wet doesn't suit their game plan but it doesn't suit ours either, at least they have the bigger bodies to deal with the wet.
