Wasn't expecting a win at all but I'll take it.
Boys stood up well in the 2nd half. Let's hope it's a bit of momentum for the rest of the season.

Mason Wood legacy game

Marcus Windhager > Harley Reid 😉 Arguably the best tagger in the game

Good response in the second half to overcome the umpiring calls & weagles fightback, good win in front of 50,000 oppo supporters too

Oh, and Wilson surely favourite for the rising star now… fun game for an ECO fan

Let’s just move Wood back into full forward.

Windhager plays his best footy when he tags someone, make him do it every week.

Dow doing exactly what we brought him in for, clearances. Love to see it.

Next week, out King (injured) and Ross. In Sharman and Crouch.

I'm not sure if Windhager was on Reid from the start (I was watching from a pub on mute from a distance), but the match up from the get go is a no brainer. Explosive, accountable, tough, as I said, a no brainer.

The irony that Reid did the dangerous tackle on his good mate which will probably hand that good mate a rising star award. Ah, who am I kidding, AFL will find a way to let him off.

Not really surprised that our forwardline actually functioned after Max went off.

Never cared so little for a good interstate win, completely checked out which is a worry.

Not at all, Lyon coached a win, King going off helped
Only caught the 2nd half & thought King did some good team things & I would be one of his biggest detractors.
Good to see Wood turn back time & Windhager showing the new kid on the block how hard AFL footy is. :stkilda:

I think he is better leading from the wing… ;)
