That feels a bit of wallpaper over the cracks.
Not really, second half they actually did what RL asked, opened it up a bit. Looked like a footy team in the second half.

Need to lower their eyes going into 50. Been a problem for nearly a decade.

Let’s just move Wood back into full forward.

Windhager plays his best footy when he tags someone, make him do it every week.

Dow doing exactly what we brought him in for, clearances. Love to see it.

Next week, out King (injured) and Ross. In Sharman and Crouch.

Thought it was Woods best wing game since this time last year.
Really used his tank and brought us home.

Windy destroyed Reid who sooked it up big time when it wasn't going his way. I am sure the rest of the comp will take note. Allowed Steele and Dow into the game more.
Thought Owens had a much better game, Henry a great second half, down back Doogs, Battle and Wilkie were very good.
Wilson still learning.
Wanted to turn off at half time. Second half very good, a five goal turnaround.

Satisfactory

David King's commentary on our entries inside 50 was absolutely spot on.

It's absolutely coachable.

There is no reason for our forward entries to be such a shambles
Nobody thinks any coach tells players to hack balls forward rather than hit forwards up on the lead do they?
Only problem is the variables: kicker getting chased, vision to see the lead, ability to execute, time to execute, defenders coming at kicker, forward to get past blocks.
It's probably not as simple as just telling them to do it.

Abhorrent watch for 3/4 of that match, unskilled, corrupt BS in a nutshell.

A win is a win however, it's just sad that it took that long for them to do anything different on that field, and great to see that the much maligned midfield got to work a bit.

And yes the calls for Windy to Reid were great as Sincs was basically getting bodied at CC and was wrong choice in that rotation to go head to head.
