does everyone realize how good murph has become
Judd worst game ever and we havnt won a game since murph was injured
Murph only a grader we have in our team

as usual, carlton players not hungry for the ball at stoppages and in contested situations. eg. that naitanui handball over the top to a wce free player in the last quarter while under pressure from being tackled.

Tired or lazy. when they choose to kick instead of run hard and bounce for 20-30 metres we're always gonna have trouble hitting a target cause we're kicking to blokes who are under the pump. Scotland did it in the last quater (he has a right to be buggered) had space to run into but chose a short pass that the eagles marked and goaled. Tired, Lazy, Dumb, Frustrating football.

could have given any of 3 or 4 players the vest at 3/4 time.

  • Bootsma should have played instead of Joseph, at the very least Lucas should have been given a crack.
  • Missed a genuine big body up forward. henderson is tall but not big bodied. He will not split many packs at all.
  • Lack of structure in the first half
  • too many fumbles in the last quarter
  • free kicks that were, shall we say, a little bit iffy and not always consistently paid
  • turning point: josephs missed pass to Jammo, Jammo losing his footing
  • turning point: chris judds dropped mark
Ratings
  • The Good: carazzo, henderson, duigan, scotland, touhy, robinson, watson, the third quarter
  • The Bad: Judd, Warnock, Garlett, Walker, Betts, Yarran, the first half
  • The average: everyone else, the last quarter
  • The Ugly: Umpires

everybody got off judd's back

his the most tagged player in the AFL in the last 10 years. gets no help from his team mates, at times opponents do illegal tactics on him, his always there when he need him and has won more games of his own boot than anyone

champion of the game. and probably trains twice as hard each week knowing the attention his gonna get on the weekends.

no AFL player goes through that

ive vented enough. Positives:

- Carrazzo back, looked good and run will do him the world of good. Any chance he can play VFL next week?
- Watson - played a great game. Looked good in defense and used the ball well. Needs to work on pace over the summer.
- Ellard, thought he was good all day, just like the way he goes about it.
- Touhy, Robbo - not alot of the ball but always looked like doing something with it.
- Duigan was solid, jamo similar although his disposal was deplorable.
- Thought walker was good around the ground, different role. Disposal a bit up and down but played well.

Felt for Betts today, looked good when he got the ball but delivery to him was terrible.

No one I can see has said this yet, but Andrew Collins had 8 touches! He came on at the 13 minute mark and had 8 possessions and kicked a goal. That is more disposals then Yarran had on the entire match! You guys can still very much win this trade. I'm happy to see Collo going along okay. I still enjoy following his progress. :)

Yes Judd has won many games off his own boot for us, but it is clear that he has lost his hunger for the game. What he has delivered for much of this season is just not good enough for a captain & highly paid player.

Yes he gets tagged a lot, but so do many of the AFL's other damaging players. Most at least try & work their way away from the tag, but Judd no longer bothers. If he can't break the tag, go deep into the forward line & stay there, keeping his opponent out of the game. Don't lead your opponent to the ball & then stand back & watch him win the ball & set up an attack for his team.

simpson wouldnt know what a hardball was downhill skier

contested possies ha

Look back further than 5 seconds and you'll see Simpson is a very courageous player, whose primary role is to be an outside reciever. Despite this he often contests and wins hard balls, he just isn't playing in the guts so doesn't get the stats.

Plenty of positives tonight. Unfortunately a handful of stupid mistakes in the last quarter game them momentum & we couldn't quite peg them back. I thought Juddy & Robbos dropped marks were crucial & our fumbling & poor ball handling in the last quarter cost us dearly. 2 guys who a few weeks ago I wasn't sure about really have impressed me the last few weeks. Matthew Watson has shown that he will be a VERY good footballer. He has gained a bit of confidence & hasn't looked back. I know he only came on in the last quarter, but Andy Collins has shown real glimpses of his talent & he's not afraid to have a crack, unlike players like Gibbs & Garlett, who surely must be looking at VFL time shortly. Chin up Blue Baggers, the last 2 weeks have been ALOT better & there are good things coming ( ie, more players to come back from injury)
