Part of me feels like we just don’t select a forward line anymore.

Um, what do you expect with Elliott, Mihocek, McStay, McInnis, Cox and Richards all out? 🤔

Those are AWFUL stats.

As a mid, you need to be getting the ball, not hunting the player with the ball.

Bont wins the game getting 14 touches and 4 tackles in the last quarter.
He’s not a full time mid, he’s filling in. Like Markov trying to play as a centre half forward. It’s not by choice they are playing roles they haven’t before and probably won’t ever again in the future.

Disappointed but not surprised. Some good signs in the first three quarters but unfortunately the boys just ran out of legs.

Some questionable umpiring decisions but our inaccuracy in front of goal was what cost us in the end.

Naicos was fantastic again as always. Meanwhile AJ was disappointing and Noble had a poor night.

Another thing that doesn’t get mentioned is how thin our midfield was tonight without DegoeyPendlebury and Mitchell.Too much responsibility falls onto the shoulders of Nick Daicos while these players are out.I think he had 16 clearances out of the team’s total of 41 clearances, almost half. You can’t win games when you rely so much on one player to win the ball for you.

Don’t have an opinion everyone because jmac might get his knickers in a knot.
Please, have an opinion, just try your best to not make it a stupid one.

So the coach can't be mocked anymore? Ohhhhh Flyyyyy.
we critique coaching we disagree with some coaching decisions, but you won’t find a collingwood supporter mock a premiership coach particularly when that premiership came 6 months ago.

You need to learn how to blend more if you want to be an effective troll. Maybe go back to your own board and practice some more, you might be better at it next time.

If by “sub” you mean “playing VFL”.

Yeah that VFL from here, I meant pre game should of had Krueger start and i also think him coming on in the last half would of helped him get into it better.

But agree looks destined for VFL now, the effort just isn't there from him atm or the want.
Has talent so hopefully he can find the motivation he needs.

This one is good, he's even managed to remain calm

The fact that we haven't had a loss in so long is a credit to this group. I expected a loss last week and while we should have won, we eeked out 2 points. And lost another 4 players to inury. If the Bulldogs were ever going to beat us, tonight was the night. To be in front at 3/4 time was a credit to us imo. I didn't expect a win tonight, considering the side we put out, but I will never be critical of the effort we put in. No shock they overran us, but these guys believe in themselves more than half our supporters do. We'll be ok as we get closer to full strenth.

Something that’s been lost in the other mess of news.

This is our first loss in 9 weeks. The streak had to come to an end eventually, and this effort was more impressive considering the outs

Yep, considering the injury toll, it's amazing really that we're only just now suffering a loss, against a team that ran Sydney close in their last game by the way. Plus, the AFL gave us an absolutely punishing draw to begin the season, with so many games stacked closely together.
I reckon the biggest challenge now is for the coaches and player leaders to maintain belief throughout the team. If that can still be there when we get our best side back together, I have a feeling we can still give the finals one almighty shake.
