Luckily for us, Ben Brown isn't the type that is going to wrestle an opponent out of the way.

A bit of a dying breed the stand and mark type forward. Hawkins, Cox, Patton post-surgery, 2019 Lynch, Dixon about it.

Not having Collins to push off and intercept is probably a bigger loss given how often he finds himself in the hole Ben Brown will be running into.

Not ready to throw the toys out of the crib just yet. We matched it with the ladder leaders for 3 and a bit quarters just 2 weeks ago. We just need to forget about our last game rather than seeing it as our benchmark and putting our heads down which is what we would do in the past around this time of year.

Hopefully Harbs is back as he sounds like he is just being managed, which will be a big in for our backline. Who knows with Touk but if we can finally get him back in that will give our midfield a boost. Wouldn’t mind Brodie either if it’s going to be wet up against Cunnington, Ziebell and co.

We are really starting to miss Thompson and Collins with our lack of quality Gorilla handler beginning to show. Don’t know if Leslie can do the job and Day has still been playing up forward?
Also key to remember that against GWS we were actually really competitive for the first half, and even at 3/4 time, the margin wasn't a blowout so to speak (36 points). We were carrying 3 injured players for the game (Bowes, Murdoch and Horlin-Smith) and missing a bulk of our best 22 (Ainsworth, Hanley, Harbrow, Miller, Thompson, Collins, and Lemmens), against a notoriously 'bullying' team, with virtually no inuries that this year, at their home.

Important to mention as well that GWS has only won 1 game this year by LESS than 26 points (4 against Geelong, in Geelong), and has an average winning margin in 2019 at Showground stadium of 74.25 points over 4 games.

If it weren't for that last quarter, we actually weren't terrible (under the circumstances).

I am actually very worried about Ben Brown.
He is ultra long and just extends the arms big time.
I think even Collins is a bad match up.

Rory with the acceleration and long arms is the prime defender.
Think Hombsch will be overmatched unfortunately.

I’m one of the biggest Brodie critics.. but I feel it’s time. I just hope they give him a solid few games before and after the bye. Let’s see what he’s got, when he’s got some assurances for a run in the ones for a few weeks.

People pretty critical of him considering he’s only played 13 senior games.. lukosius already nearly played the same amount in his first year

Kinda reminds me a bit of Brayden Sier. strong bodied mid-fielder, that can be quite the player if he has the chance to get some games under him.

3 good ins.
If we had Rory and Ainsworth in particular I'd feel confident.
At the moment I'm a genuine 50/50.

Just came here to say that you blokes are in with a massive chance against my mob today, and I won't be at all surprised to see you run over the top of us. Been really impressed with some of this team's performances this year
