$400k in the bank to finance the last of my upgrades. Very close to having my final team... At this stage Tom Mitchell from the Swans could be a keeper at M8. Absolutely gunning it and averaging 121!! Vlastuin is looking like a decent D6 as well...

Priddis to Barlow and Lonergan to Hrovat my trades this week.

Looks like I'll leave Brent Goodes as my M8 for a little bit and Vlastuin at D6 and look at upgrading Terlich in the coming weeks.

Greatest issue is in the forward line though where I still have Buddy/Macaffer to sort out as well as Rowe just sitting there spudding it up. Might look at a bloke like Jordan Lewis who I consider to be ultra-reliable perhaps in the coming weeks.

i seriously have no clue on what trades to do. don't know whether to double downgrade or upgrade to barlow (my initial plan). either:

• viney -> kyle martin & jpk -> barlow
• viney -> kyle martin & rowe -> nicholls
• viney -> kyle martin & jpk -> hrovat (hrovat will be good for byes but price increase is most likely not going to be as much as nicholls)

what would you choose? btw already have tom mitchell

I already have Mitchell and Nicholls, I traded them in last week for my strategy. Now I have a hard choice, I am trading out whitfield and lucas as they have reached there potential (I would trade out dwyer but no forwards I want this week, next week there will be) but who to trade in?

A double downgrade bringing in hrovat and k.martin (930k in the bank for a double upgrade next week plus extra cash)? or bring in barlow and martin(approx 500k in the bank)?

I dont have as many round 13 players as everyone else so I will still have 20 suited up next week so i would take martin over hovrat.

are there going to be many more cash cows in the second half of the season? that is the question? Is it worth taking the 60 point this week bringing in hrovat or should I take barlow????

it is driving me crazy!!!

All clubs get to activate one rookie after round 12 I think it is.

So I think clubs like St Kilda / Norf/ Melbourne / Port / Crows will give a rookie a game in the second half of the year.

Whether they score well is a different story.

I'm not sure if its a subconscious thing, but in the 2 years I've played DT, I've never had a Dockers player in my team. With all this talk about Barlow this week... at $535k, I still dont want him (yet). Is it Ross Lyon? Can't be me... surely...

Second depends on who is named.

If Dwyer misses, then Dwyer -> Martin

If Dwyer is named but Crouch misses, then Crouch -> Cloke

If both are named, then OMeara -> Barlow.

R13 trades

Omeara/Crouch/whoever out for Mitchell and Jack.

Best case scenario is 20 playing this week and 21 next week. 19/20 both weeks is more likely though with late withdrawals etc.

He is very tempting, but for me ( and perhaps for other people), the round 13 bye is putting me off a little.

Surely, most trade in this round should be the players who just had the bye.

It comes down to whether you want Barlow in or are willing to take another premium mid in a week or 2 because Barlow is likely to shoot up in price from here. The double downgrade works well if you're not completely sold on Barlow.

My trades will be, all going well with injuries etc.

Macaffer to Mitchell
Terlich to Duffield/Birchall

Round 14:
Blicavs to Pendles/Jack/Stanton
May need another downgrade to fund this, so Rowe/Webster to cheap
