Yes, but it will be extremely tough to bring in two good Rd11 premiums via upgrades this week. Don't get me wrong, that's the ideal thing to do. If I need to do a downgrade I'd rather draft Tom Mitchell in rather than Kyle Martin for example...you need to think more than just 1 week ahead...(Not convinced on Grimley and already got Hrovat)

Another factor is that you likely won't gain as much points from dropping a lower score in Rd12 and having a 0 in Rd13 compared to have one less score drop in Rd12 and a full team in Rd13. I'll put it this way, dropping off an extra scores is nice, but if it means you've had to cop an extra 0 in another bye week, you stuffed up you're planning for the byes!

i don't think he will to be honest. gold coast are getting better and better as a team, and he is definitely a big part of the team. i have JPK as well, will probably get rid of him instead of jom atm

yep, JPK is GAWNNN as soon as the lockout is over tmrw! He's my unique pick at the start of the season who has failed somewhat miserably

Wouldn't normally do a double downgrade at this point in the season, but Tom Mitchell, Kyle Martin and Hrovat seem like a great trio to have at M8, 9, 10. Mitchell looks as if he'll be a premium soon and the other two can give adequate bench cover, plus giving me 900k to play with.

Barlow seems to be unanimous. I agree he's the best option, others I may consider: Cloke, Martin (which will move Kennedy down to M6) Deledio, Cotchin, Griffen, Fyfe.

Another considering old man Boyd here. Huge risk now with his calves but is a bargain for what he can produce.

Think I might trade out JJK. Can switch Rockliff FWD to complete my fwd line, then trade in a gun midfielder. Gets rid of a Round 12 bye also.

Reason being I dont think JJK will be a top scoring FWD, especially with the eagles not being a top 4 side.

Who would you trade out, Evans or JPK? JPK with a high BE (146) that he'd not meet, and I'm sick of his inconsistency. Evans has maxed out but won't lose me so much cash even if I just bench him.

Or should I trade both out and miss out on getting Nicholls for McBean? I'm too confused....

Martin looks to be a top 5 forward prospect for the year, and I don't have any forward line guys ready to upgrade yet. JPK has been horrible and this timing work out well around the byes. Idea is to move Martin into the forward line after the byes and play Mitchell if he is continuing to score around 90ish a match and hopefully then trade B.Kennedy up to Pendles after the byes.

absolutely, don't want to be in a position next week where i am forced in to 2 other trades - if your team has enough players then yes bring him in this week
