I am in Adelaide atm, conditions are rainy and cold.
Which is probably helpful, greasy conditions will make scoring more difficult and might help us congest a bit better around the stoppages, to limit the damage
I still think we will lose, but if the weather remains the same until the center bounce, I wouldn't expect us to get blown away.

Adelaide have been competitive this year. We have not.
They got to within a goal of Geel at GMHBA in the 3rd qtr and bad kicking the last few weeks has stopped them being even closer in games.
Anyone thinking we'll "flick a switch" is deluded.
Crows to get their kicking boots on (after being dragged through the media here in SA about it this week) and win by 44 in a low scoring wet stormy crapfest.

As much as i agree with the sentiment, that 1 or 2 is a bit of a wash, if we are dead set on getting as much draft talents in as possible, as someone who knows fk all about the draft, i don't know how many teams are floating the godfather offer, like Adelaide and i think Richmond? did last year for pick 1. I don't pay a lot of attention to draft prospects, but pick one seems like the slot that people look to trade in for, especially if pick 1 is a father son?
Just my 2 cents, and its probably worthless anyhoo.

If it was dry i'd actually be putting a very large line bet on us. With the rain however I just don't see how we don't get destroyed. At least with Hough and Foley in the back half we will have some run and kicking. If gov wasn't out I really would have wanted witherden out of the side as I really don't like playing the two of them together.
