When watching on tv several times hope as the ball is travelling in the air to the forward line then the only thing visible is a sea of Carlton jumpers. The game has been an exercise in frustration from those early easy misses.

To 2MP’s defence, the kicking inside 50m has been atrocious for weeks.

You see what happened when you kicked the ball to the top of the square, Cox marks and goals and we’ve got Stringer lurking rather than to 40m where we miss the target and the oppo runs the other way and kicks a goal.

He’s chopping out the ruck since we’re on a solo ruck structure today, been on the bench a couple times and when that’s not happening he’s apparently down on the back flank, since that’s where almost all of his touches have been recorded.

I know the 8x interstate teams think it’s still a VFL competition rather than AFL, such are their disadvantages.
