Rising star isn't judged in stats, it's judged on what the kid has shown.

Griffen has showed absolute star qualities, his game against Carlton was oustanding and whilst Rowe has had higher possession games than that I haven't seen him (I haven't seen all of his games) show some of the rare qualities that Griffen has. His tackling and intent on the contest was very good and his goal was outstanding. His last three weeks have been good.

Totally agree that Rowe was deserving of a nomination early in the season, but his form in recent weeks has tapered off. Has had a poor last 2 games for Collingwood.
BTW, agree with you on Sylvia's nomination.
