You should have reported him for anti-social behaviour, like the Carlton flog who reported me, for calling Judd a money-hungry whore. ****ing hypocrites they are, hate everything about Carlton.

Truth hurts them!

Some clowns on their board want to card me for a slight jab about salary cap rorting.

That is the first time i have left early since the final against Footscray in 97. Moved up to level 3 after quarter time to watch the moves.
Carlton were very good, so were the vic. umpires for them and we were just shit.
Gameplan, is there one ? who knows, the only thing i can see is the same old dated one from the last few years.
Goodes has to play 80% in the midfield, White must return and LRT to the backline with Richards going to the bench. McVanish has to give up the captaincy as he is just a very good ordinary player who's only leadership skills are to point directions.

Yes we left early as well, must have been just before our 6 goal spree. I was pretty shocked when i saw the score at full time.

I agree that Goodes should play most of his game in the midfield, I would give Kennelly a rest before Richards though. Him and McVeigh are 2 of our senior players who continue to make glaringly obvious rookie mistakes.

I also think we should return LRT to the backline, i don't think he is any good in the ruck as i would rather give Mike Pyke a go, now that Mumford is out that is what we should do.

It was a very disappointing game, no heart, no skill and terrible kicking for goal and delivery into the forward line. We don't even look like a top 8 team.

Carlton looked good and were good but bloody hell the umpires love them don't they?

Love the fact that now that everyone - including an Eagles fan on the main board - is complaining about the Umpiring bias to Carlton, AG has gone quiet after his 'Don't be one of those people who bitches about the Umps when they're fine in this match' comment to me. ;)

Regarding the umps: as I see it the current rule set/interpretations means if you're first to the ball you get the frees. We were comprehensively NOT first to the ball.

The umps didn't stop us hitting a target for 65 minutes while the Blues kicked 14 goals.

Didn't see the game, but this is generally the "rule".

Losing sides almost always complain about the umpiring, it's like the sun rising in the east.*

*Of course, as we all know, the sun doesn't rise, but you know what I mean.

Number of very suspect Blues free kicks throughout the match. I think in the second half they did try and 'balance it' and the Swans had a few Frees I was surprised they got considering they weren't paid in the first half. But whatever. Not blaming the Umpires for the loss in the slightest, just think they were appalling.

First to the ball doesn't count on holding the balls that weren't paid, but you are right about the turnovers

I thought Thornton got away with murder against LRT all game. Clearly holding him out of contests. Of course, no victorian ump is ever going to give LRT a free in a marking contest.
