It's kind of sad that I'm looking out for rain and some big potential outs (Reid, Waterman, Allen, Kelly?) to get us over the line against a team as wobbly as the Eagles, but you have to take what you can get, I suppose?

With the weaknesses of our forward line it all comes down to how our mids stack up against theirs:

Xerri Sheezel Wardlaw LDU (Powell, Shiels) with Scott and Kerch on the wings…

Vs

Williams Sheed Ginby Kelly with Chesser and Hunt on the wings.

If our mids show up and have defensive support from our forwards, this may well just be our first win. Or if we underestimate them, it could be a 60-point thumping.

Reid and Allen won’t play.

If Waterman and Kelly are fit then West Coast will win this comfortably.

Nah, I'm happy for him. It wasn't his fault he left, but he wasn't getting the best out of himself with us.
This. I am pissed off, but not with him. If we'd have had the foresight to play him other than an undersized key forward and instead utilized the attributes he had as a junior, and was apparently drafted for - speed, overhead ability and ground level skill instead of continually playing him in a position he wasn't suited to, he may well still have been here. His injuries didn't help, but the fact that he was turfed out without even exploring the aforementioned is a case of getting what we deserve. No issue at all.
