Darling > Chapman this week. I know Chappy's bye. Hope to avoid it with a win in finals week 1, otherwise will cover him somehow. Really didn't want to consider anyone other than him or SJ... other forwards I either have or don't really want. SJ is a bit too much coin for now.

Will probably grab Sam Fisher next week for one of my rookie backs, and then ride out the rest of the season until finals with a pretty much complete team (when all play).

Im leaning towards Heppell to Shaw mainly because he will play every game from now on. And im liking Lower better at the moment.

Anyone else considering Bartel/Montags as a mid 7 bench filler when they hit their low rock bottom as ultimate cover with all the injuries happening??

Should be almost about to be able to trade to them for not much $$$'s, or is it better to keep the trade for a LTI instead??

need some advice on if i should trade montagna or not..

my team is pretty much complete and i have 12 trades left and 80k in the bank and monty has not been good at all this year with only 3 100s and a break even of 192. so if i was going to trade him it would be this week..

with an average of 92 i can spend a trade and 30k and get someone like s thompson who is averaging 107..

what are peoples thoughts on him? keep or trade?

Seriously considering Bartel to Ablett instead of Martin to Ablett. Bartel is about to drop a heap in price, will be rested at some stage, has a bye during finals and probably won't play this weekend.

Martin is fairly consistent and has good potential for high scores with his goal scoring.

Would leave me with Swan, Pendles, Ablett, Watson, Montagna with Martin or Scully filling m6.

Bad move? I just don't have faith in Jimmy to perform like previous years.

I'd initially planned on doing:
OUT: Lower, Matera
IN: Shaw, Sylvia.

However, now I'm hearing Sylvia might have a niggling injury, and after having injuries to Hayes, Mundy, Grimes, and Adcock this season, I'm thinking perhaps waiting until Stevie J drops in price. Similarly, Shaw is known for being inconsistent, and it might be worth waiting for Fisher. Having all the cash I have in the bank is making me impatient to trade, but with only eight left, I really can't afford to trade hastily.

Questions:

• Is it worth carrying Adcock? He's going to be out until R16/17, and even then, is he really going to pull out those massive scores again, like he did in Rounds 5-9?
• Is Sylvia worth it? At 317K, he's dirt cheap, but I'm not convinced, given his injury-riddled past, the fact that Melbourne's midfield is more stocked up, meaning he may spend more time in the forward line, etc., etc.
• Is Lower worth keeping as a B8? Or should I aim for someone cheaper, like Puopolo, and offload Lower soon? His BE is 90...
• Shaw/Fisher?
• Is Bartel still a keeper? With only 8 trades left, I don't think trading Bartel to Ablett is feasible...

Fyfe and Krakouer, by far, IMO. I really doubt Didak's ability to do anywhere near as well as Fyfe at the moment, who is a premium. Krakouer is a DPP, and thus is invaluable as an 8th forward, assuming you have a F/M in your mids. If not, might want to get onto Callinan soon.

I would ditch Heppell, misses the GF for fantasy and the long season might be starting to put the wear and tear on him.

Stanley is mature age and has seemed to get better as the year goes
