Daniher really needs to get a couple of things right out of his game , the staging and the blasting kicks without looking when he could , because the guy can seriously play when he's focused solely on winning the footy.

But as far as getting fined for staging ,Hawkins, Reiwoldt ,Lynch ,they've done that hundreds of times. Before I start on Selwood and co.

This was such a beautiful goal.

From deep inside defensive 50 to goal in about 13 seconds 😮 Wow!

One of two extremely impressive slingshot moments in the game. Unfortunately Charlie failed to finish the other one off.

While on the subject of the video DaLions posted… Seeing what Rich’s skillset can do in a high quality team makes me feel sorry for Josh Drummond.

Poor dude was the ultimate victim of bad timing.

And just bad luck in general.

A really strong game from everyone... with our A grade talent firing.

We play like that in the finals and I can't see anyone beating us.
Richmond look like they are in trouble, and suffered a few injuries against Saints last night. We play them in a few weeks at the 'G' so would be great to beat them and virtually end their top 8 prospects, certainly top 4 almost impossible.

Drummond had unfathomable ability.
Zorko’s kick in that string of play shouldn’t be underrated either. On that occasion was the equivalent of Rich’s.

Old mate Cats supporter behind me at the game...

Ha ha they won’t win a premiership kicking 13.16.

Me: Likely you won’t even make a GF kicking 7.8.

Old mates wife....you just got owned.

Not even correct. Would've won last year's Grand Final for a start.

No he shouldn't, but he will. Got to keep accumulating those non contested possessions.
Very little difference % wise between Rich and Birchall for non contested possessions but keep spouting absolute gibberish.

If the argument is that other defenders do a better job than Birchall then come with a coherent argument as there are a decent few that agree with you.

Dylan’s burner account
'Brett C' I had accepted 'Irel' advice to ease up a bit and be more positive...but you butted in with 'keep spouting absolute gibberish' Sometimes just got to let it go through to the keeper

Your the same poster that snapped at me a few months ago and stated that the Lions had poured tens & tens of millions of dollars into Springfield, even though that was not correct. Virtually all of the Springfield development is paid by the three levels of govt and the local developer

In a very recent post, I stated that I believed Birchall will play a role in the later parts of the H & A games and the finals. However at the moment I think we would gain more longer term playing a few of the younger guys. Birchall is not the player he once was, that happens, I appreciate he has won four flags...but for another team, so I don't feel the same level of loyalty to him as I do with many other Lions players. Perhaps because of that my post have been somewhat negative in regards to him.

Fact is of all the regular backs used last year, Birchall spent less time on the ground then any of the other regular backs. The last few games this year, with Gardner and Lester out he has spent more time on the ground, but if he was so vital for the team he would be spending almost the entire game on the field, like Andrews, Adams and even Payne did last Thursday night.

First of all way to incorrectly what I said about Springfield but not surprised you’d be wrong again.

I said at the time the club investing circa $70m in The Reserve, it would take a simpleton to infer from that the club the one was spending that amount but you’re used to being wrong with almost every post you make.

The vast majority of your posts take a negative bent which is the case with a few on here.

If you said that to most random people on the street, they would 100% take that to mean the club is putting $70m of its own money in to The Reserve.

If I had of read that on here, knowing what I know, I would have called you on it to, because it’s simply not correct, and shouldn’t be used like that in a discussion. That’s on you for not being able to communicate your message correctly, not on the person reading it.

With all due respect Briz not all random people are stupid. If a parent gifts their kids $100k to build a house whose investing the money? It’s the kids not the parents.

essentially the lions have been gifted government funds.
