Marshall is kidding himself he thinks he’s an A grade ruckman. He’s just not good enough to compete against the top shelf ruckmen. Not sure why RTB refuses to play Campbell. By doing so we can shift Marshall into the forward line and have another target. Unfortunately Caminiti looks cooked which is understandable given hes only 19 yo.

They are setting up a long bomb behind the ball and we just bomb it there. There is no run carry or penetration let alone any delivery inside forward 50. How is it even possible for him to impact in this situation?

I can’t be bothered getting into a long exchange on this. On at least three occasions I have seen him led to the ball my his direct opponent and not be in a position to compete. All he needs to do is complete with his opponent and I’ll be happy.

Surely that not to much to ask at 900k a year

He was trailing in and ball was shallow and to advantage, Hill as a not defender in a 1v1 set up is either infringing or doing what he did and completely misreading the ball in flight.

Our midfield is bottom 4 in the league.

At the moment it’s bottom 1 or 2. Even West Coast have an in-form Kelly, a back-to-good-footy Yeo, Shuey and Sheed. So ours is every chance to be the very worst rn.

We're in a holding pattern atm. Marshall's centre bounce work has been awful. Then we keep bombing it out of the backline to their wall. Need to get better in the centre and being smarter how we exit defence - use a quarter back get out kick or run through handball and find a loose option to release pressure

I thought he looked good when on the ground. When he wasn’t his opponent looked good.

Not over yet but this is shaping up as another flogging in a big occasion game for us if we can't get our shit together and start competing a lot better.

Paton and Byrnes are terrible average players see what we can get for them next year

We would be lucky to get a packet of CCs for the pair of them, they are VFL standard footballers that wouldn't get a gig in many other teams.
