I traded murphy> scooter then scooter to boyd FMDT all injured within the week of bringing em in and having them captain. Totally screwed my trades this week, might have to miss out on either clisby or danniher. On the plus I have mitchell as cover so maybe not

Yep fair enough but there will be heaps of other rookies that will be "money grabs". Good rookies are a different story

I have a team full of *premo's* already.. Looking at upgrading some of them as i have plenty of cash.

Premo's on the block -
Buddy
Ball
A Swallow
T Boak
B Ebert
McEvoy

Problem is the only "Super Premo I don't have is SJ. Then those avging over Ball, Swallow, Boak and Ebert are only Montagna, Stanton and Cornes - is it even worth the trades?? Thinking of doing Martin to SJ next week to have DPP cover and upgrading McEvoy.

I feel you. At least I was able to shift Scotland this week (as long as teams don't ruin my plans)

Was contemplating two different trades
H Shaw to Heppell and Boyd to Ebert - bring in Bartel next week
or
Boyd to Heppell (Gibbs/Goddard to mids) and Macaffer to Bartel

Second option means guaranteed to lose cash on the Shaw train, which is a bit frustrating. Even more so than the Hartlett one.

Not too fussed about missing Clisby/Mckenzie as I haave moderate rooks on my bench

I've managed to complete the rage trade of hodge by shifting goodes to the mids but i'll have to wait and see what the selection table brings... which this season has been a fresh bunch of coconuts practically every round...

Ebert is a good grab that's often overlooked I think. Could be a good unique player to have. If he was a bit cheaper I'd be getting him in myself this week.

Boyd to Heppell (Gibbs/Goddard to mids) and Macaffer to Bartel

You don't want to split a main defender into the midfield unless you have a good plan of getting them back there IMO. If you've got a rookie in your def. who you'll definitely be trading out soon it could work though (as well as a solid midfield target). We're so short on good defenders this year, you might end up with a team too heavy on mid and light on def. I guess with so many trades this year it might not be so bad, but even spending the one trade switching them back to def. might be costly if you have injuries or rookies that need to be jumped on.

Am after a second opinion on which trade i should be making this week, im thinking either Vlastuin --> Enright or O'Meara--> Watson/Danger.

I have a couple 100k in the bank so its a take my pick kind of situation.

I like the second option as it will allow me to play Goodes this week if he is named.

Don't know wether to upgrade a back and a mid and sit mitchell and terlich on the pine (seems a waste) or sideways trade some of these underperforming premos.

atm thinking scotland to hanley and bringing in griffen as an 8th premo mid and sitting mitchell on the pine. so a combination of the above

I'm considering going Boyd > Masten instead of Griffen or Pendles. Kerr, Shuey, Selwood and Wellingham will all be absent from the midfield this week so he should get a heap of it playing on the ball for the majority of the game.
