When Port wore this Chinese jumper earlier in the year it was last year's jumper (old collar) and yet tonight clearly it's a new jumper with the new collar.

Why not have these new ones at the start of the year?

Wasn't it because they made a deal with the Chinese Government in that week concerning a media deadl. To recognise that deal, they wore the one off jumper. Little to no time to prepare a new set of 22 jumpers; whereas they had time for this week.

But new players like Dixon must have had a jumper made?

It's easier to make two to three new ones rather than 22 new ones. Also, were the jumpers for the new players 2016 PIs?

Not knowing the whole process it would have been just as easy to make them all?
We know thanks to the Elimination Final that ISC can pull jumpers out in a week too.

And Dixon and Co had a Chinese jumper with the 2015 collar, so even if they did make a new jumper for his name why to the old collar?

The ISC factory was out of business earlier this season dues to a cyclone that hit Fiji early in the year.

Maybe they had them created before ISC changed their collars / template.

I thought that was just BLK?

And your second point is a good one that I didn't consider.
From memory the Geelong photoshoot was in the old collar so it may have been a late change.

It is still surprising then they made a whole new lot for one game when they had jumpers already there.

There's also an ISC factory in Fiji. They where the ones that supplied Port with the Prisonbar jumper to the game against Richmond in the 2014 finals series.

Good to see hawks not in brown jumper. Good call by them.

Probably wasn't their call.

Since the Brown inverse was introduced they've worn it against us every away game if I recall correctly.

I'm guessing the AFL have realised how dumb the Hawks away jumper is given how many clashes it doesn't fix. I'm guessing the Hawks have finally realised how shit and deplorable their power rangers jumper is, hence why we've seen more of their home/white shorts combo.

It's definitely a step in the right direction. Wait and see if it's consistently applied (cue mocking laughter)
I think, between the gold/brown, gold/white, brown/white and brown/brown they should pretty much have the whole comp covered now that WCE aren't wearing guernseys that are 1/3 yellow:

My Hawthorn Away Games, assuming they still want to wear brown guernsey away where possible:
Gold/White: Adelaide Brisbane Carlton Collingwood Essendon Fremantle Melbourne Port Richmond StK WCE
Brown/Brown: Geelong GC North Sydney WB
White/White: GWS

Essentially the Brown should be a secondary away jumper, given most teams wear darker colours at home already. White for GWS still as both gold and brown are relatively close to the orange and charcoal and it' be a clusterfrack of gold/orange and brown/charcoal regardless of which striped jumper the Hawks use.

If I recall I think Sydney were the first to get the 2016 gear. Then Geelong.

And St Kilda were last to get it. Again.

I don't want to sound pedantic but, surely the stripes on the sleeves of the longsleeve (mainly bartel) could match up to be the same colour as the main jumper....
