I'm not sure how much longer Ross is going to put up with Max King's pathetic efforts. People continue to make excuses for him but today's performance will go down as the the weakest individual performance of the year.

On a positive, I thought the skipper really stood up today, but outside of him our midfield for the most part were invisible.

As weak an effort as I have ever seen since Billings and Fiora were in the team.

Seeing King's development is sad.

He's always been the key to us going on with last year, and he's let us down and then some.

Our midfield is embarrassing.

We should be looking to trade Steele at years end too.

King being soft and lazy has nothing to do with game plan, he's a bruise free player and sits behind the pack and refuses to be the man and be first to the ball....its that simple.

Higgins s does …Wood does …King refuses
I know he played juniors this way but this ain’t markers up in the playground anymore
Still think a decent forward coach would make a difference
He looked better up the ground in the play
Anyway Sharman was a positive at least you can hang your hat on that …

Dow isn’t afl standard and will never be. 24 years of age playing as a midfielder getting 7 touches is a disgrace. Put Pou in there rest of the season for exposure. Hes had a very good month in the vfl. Need to hit the draft hard and get some top end midfielders somehow

A midfield that breaks at least even makes the forward line better.
King has struggled with a bottom 3 delivery this year.
I’m not for one second defending his desire and effort - I truly think it’s below par after the last few months of observation - I refuse to concur with your other assessments yet, I’m still firmly in the camp of most of it is poor delivery, poor leading patterns and poor connection.
Not to say you aren’t correct I just need more proof.
Bloke was a gun junior forward, you don’t just lose that.

gets a game next week after what he had been offerring up today and in recent weeks, the club can..... I wont be renewing our memberships next year or at any time in the future. That was putrid and the most apathetic effort I have seen from an AFL footballer.

The run and jump at the ball and take on an aerial contest to want to be first hands on the ball for that mark and goal by Sharman is a play I can't remember King doing for a very long time.
