Won't blame Dev if he asks to be traded end of this year. He should be playing in the middle and Eagles would provide that opportunity.
He is 20 years old….. players need time to develop. In no way am I saying it is but if his attitude is to crack it for not getting a game… is that someone that you want at the club. I’m backing him to go back, destroy the twos and be back in the ones by finals time

NOOOO! Surely you're not saying QLD Health/the government bureaucracy would manipulate statistics to suit/push a narrative:think:.... well I never.
No, I’m saying people simply aren’t testing themselves anymore, or reporting positive rat tests to the gov.

Nothing to do with governments.

What’s the message we are sending to our squad by making the changes we did for tomorrow’s game? Same old same old from us which doesn’t give me much hope. Hoping to see a huge shift in attitude tomorrow night

Daniel and Richards out really helps us.

We should be winning.

As far as our team selections go I'm a bit flat because I was preparing to melt and now only have a half melt in me. I don't think we've got our best 22 out there , but almost.

Twas said last week about Melbourne without Gawn.

Take a deep breath Brab: unfortunately the latest omicron sub-variant BA.5, is a doozy. It will be the dominant one very soon and its antigen has many more mutations than previous variants. Conclusive data not in yet, but early indications are that it may be evading antibodies to a much greater extent than other variants. Which will probably greatly reduce the efficacy of existing vaccines. I very much hope I’m wrong but a temporary imposition of mandatory mask wearing should be a no-brainer. 86 people died of covid yesterday in Australia. It’s still about 2000 per week in the Empire of Chaos where you can’t get an abortion but an eighteen year old can buy a machine gun. Strap yourself in.
Yup, clinical staff at my work are saying this one could be a bad one.

There must be a reason we've gone with tunstill again. Interested to see what that might be tomorrow
I would probably have Prior out there but Tunstill has probably outperformed him and any other winger outside of Ah Chee in the reserves. Tunstill has been very good in the reserves, wasn't our worst player on the weekend and just like Lohmann earlier in the season deserves and has earned his chance.
People like to have it both ways, complain about not changing the team and not rewarding VFL form, then complain about having a new face in the team and would rather go back to someone that has shown all they have to offer.

There are 3 I'd have ahead of him.

But he gets the opportunity in what should be a suitable match for him so let's hope he goes better.
Who would you have ahead of him for the wing position?

ICU daughters both say people are responding badly to all infections ATM., Way worse than pre lockdown.

Maybe bodies need regular stream of infections for immune system too stay strong.

Cost of lockdown being felt???

Very surprised that Tunstill kept his spot, must be some sort of plan in play that we don't bring a debutant in and then straight back out. Would have thought Prior would be well in front of him at this stage.

Players who need to perform this week to ease the pressure of keeping their spot IMO - Answerth, McCarthy, Tunstill, Lyons.

We haven't honored 2s form strictly to be honest. Matho would've played by now otherwise. Fagan and Match Committee prefers to pick based on certain criterias. Fagan has got us from utter garbage to where we are today so he has that freedom to run with it.

But we've now baselined ourselves to a new level as a repeat finals team so supporters are expecting the next level up and all decisions get scrutinized deeply these days. Fagan is running out of those petrol tickets, fast.
Not really correct.

Neale and Lyons got us here. Along with Cameron, Adams and Daniher.

A massive list upgrade had much more influence than the coach.
