People really need to get over this season average thing when trading players in. I traded in JPK & Zorko when most of their seasons were 50's & 60's. It's irrelevant. Shuey just needs to put together a solid final 8 games like he did last year (6 out of 8 decent scores) and he will have served his purpose.

Thats last year though can he do that again? gets tagged alot since he cant break a tag and with little trades left is it worth taking that much of a risk? Gaff would be the better option.

If you have the cash sure Gaff is a better option.

Is Shuey a tag risk? Yes he is, just like Zorko was when he bottomed out. Has scored well since despite weekly tags.

It's a value for money thing. 366k for a 96 ppw or an extra 160k for 10-12 more points each week. With only 8 rounds to go you'd paying 160k for 80-100 points in total.

Wasted trade. I would rather have TT's M/F DPP to cover midfield injuries when need be.

I got JPK for a bag of peanuts early in the season and he’s been a star since. Couldn’t agree more.
Matt Crouch the same. **** he looks juicy at $483K. He now looks fit, Sloane returning etc is what I look at not his average.

One trade this week Tim Kelly to Crouch. $50K only and allows Fyfe to cool his jets on the pine.
Fyfe could be a very decent POD towards the pointy end of the year if you can afford to sit on him now.

I was planning on using one of my last remaining trades to upgrade Holman to a premo but now I'll probably have to use that trade to replace Fyfe instead.

I could just bench Fyfe but I'm assuming he will be out for at least a few weeks if it's a standard hammy injury and if it's a bad one it could be even longer so holding him would be a risky strategy.

Will probably trade Fyfe to Neale/JKelly/JPK or Duncan. Dont want to, but have to win games in my cash league. Leaning towards Neale as he has a good record against the teams he's playing against the next few weeks. Have lost McRae/ Treloar and Fyfe recently so burning through trades.
