So I'm in a bit of a pickle.

I VC'd danger last night, however I just realised I have no emergencies left to use and no subs to use his score.

If I want his score I could bring in strdnica off ruck bench in, but that means I will cop a donut from either gawn or Ryder.

Alternatively I can just give the C to doc.

Should I cop a donut? Or put C on someone else

I wouldn't, Doc will score around the 120 mark... so call it 240 captains score.. + Gawn or Ryder who should score around the 100... So about 340 all up + Dangers 165 = around 500

As opposed to
Doc 120 + Danger 330 + Strdnica 0 = 450

Just to clarify my options are:

Danger (captains score) + doc + either Ryder or gawn

Danger + doc (captain) + gawn + ryder

About 500pts v 560pts, calculating that doc, Ryder, gawn all get 100

My league game is going down to the wire... Both had Danger as C, I'm currently losing by 18 points. 3 v 3 to go...
Me: Ryan, Hibberd (Melb), Ryder
Opponent: Mountford, Oliver, Murphy

I'm still seriously contemplating a last minute trade going Fyfe -> Cripps... (Im just short of Neale) anyone want to talk me in or out???

If you need the league win, lock cripps in.
Otherwise, save the trade

Welcome. Love that you followed up your first post with another trying to help someone out, best way is to get involved and others will be more than welcome to help you out, no-one likes these blow ins just wanting help but offer nothing in return :thumbsu:

I think Greenwood out caught everyone by surprise. He has been listed as rested, so I guess we are all hoping that given it's his first run of games (even though he had a bye a few weeks ago...) that they are just easing him in and that Adelaide have opted for some more experience (Thompson) against the Bulldogs mids. Bit more beef to try and help Sloane out a little bit.

Best of luck with your SC team, you'll learn a lot in your first year!

Thanks for the reply and the welcome! Yeah bugger those blow ins. That ain't right.

Ah, okay. So it's proooobably just for the week? I hope so. I can't decide whether to upgrade him or Nank to Heeney. Probably Greenwood is the responsible maneuver. It's just gonna save me 100K to do Nank instead and at this point he's not having much better games than Greenwood. Plus I have 7 trades left going into round 17. 138K in the bank. I wouldn't have to trade someone else to get Heeney if it's Nank that is sacrificed. Hmm... just musing aloud I guess.

Thanks, the luck is required, learning a lot already. Like, don't trust Sloane again.

Hmm, tricky. There is merit in holding Nankervis given he has the ruck cover. The last thing you will want to do is sideways a ruck premium who's missing 1 week in the finals just to avoid a 0. If Greenwood is named, might be worth to hold a week? He has a BE of -7 and has the potential to go up $40k with another 80 points. Heeney on the other hand has a BE of 122 and could drop $10k if he scores 100.

This will price Heeney @ $500k and Greenwood @ $380k and you will be able to make that swap with the one trade. You will have $18k up your sleeve as a buffer (~40 points) and should still be able to do it if Heeney score 120 and Greenwood 60.

Now that's advice. Thanks!! I'm definitely leaning towards holding this week. Especially if Greenwood gets named. Thanks again!
