Hey guys,

4 trades left and not much $ in the bank!

My weakest spots are D6 and F6 - I'm happy with my bench cover and flexibility. i'm considering 2 options this week;

1) No trades
2) Trade Poulter to Sharp and use the $ to upgrade either Jiath (upto $600k) or Weightman (upto $480k)?

Think with Impey down Jiath will be fine as a D6.

Bailey Dale fits your budget perfectly as F6, should be good for 95+ on the run home.

Alternative wait and see how CCJ scores, if he scores well hold your trades for this week and then look at Dale/Bolton/Marshall (all should drop a little bit) next week.

8 before trades this week.
$130k in the kitty.
Then go Doch to Lloyd ....he'll bounce back after a couple of poor weeks .....he's the more reliable of the two and is far less likely to get an injury than Ridley

4 trades left....No trades man.

Wait and see how CCJ and Weightman go over the next few weeks.

Your stuck with Jaith now. Can't waste a trade on a uninjured player.

weightman to dale and then keep the last 2 trades for injuries, your cover is excellent i would consider doing CCJ > 102k fwd/mid instead of poulter to sharp if possible. poulter can then cover mid and fwd and will be very handy cover. trading him makes your mid cover perhaps a bit shaky.

No cash in the bank whatsoever makes trading options for Doc limited.

Houston and Salem are probably the 2 that stand out for me. Houston still has that shoulder concern while Salem had a couple of down games after missing one through injury but seems to be back to form the last fortnight. May taking most of the kick in chips down there at the moment but there's always a chance that changes ala Ridley taking back his alpha gull position at the Bombers recently. Cumming probably worth a look too - has a very secure role.

The other options don't really excite me - Howard has had an epic fortnight but nothing about it seems reproducible, I like Wil Powell as a player but probably a better option as a hail mary POD next year. Houli is old and will just make me melt when both him and Short score terribly in the same game.

Think it'll end up being Salem. Has shown he can go nuclear (160+ earlier this season) and his season average is a tick under 100 - I think he'll average 100+ for the rest of the year which is more than fine @ D6.

Think Haynes is a genuine option if you don't have him, role is back to the one that has seen him score highly in the past. Extra 60k might help in the long run.

I like Salem over Houston (considering these options myself), that shoulder knock for Houston scares me.

Thing that scares me with Haynes is his best year and only year averaging true premo scores was 2020 with its COVID inflation - had never gone over 90 prior. Similar things turned me off starting the likes of Neale (who is an SP but averaging 134 was a huge jump) and Petracca (breakout year at 117 with COVID KOTD, back to 104 this year).

Worth a look though. I'm just wishing I had 50ish k in the bank - would go straight to Rich who I think is hugely overlooked around here. Averaging 105+ and absurdly consistent

Yeah I like Salem as a D6, he was pretty banged up and ended up having a week off to rest. Now he's back into it and is getting plenty of chips. Kick-ins will be an interesting watch though, May usually takes them and either plays on long to Gawn or he plays on and goes short to Salem so even if he doesn't get kick-ins he can still get kick-ins.

If these are May's only 2 options then he's benefiting me either way if I go Salem so he can keep doing it as far as I'm concerned :moustache:
