Trades Round 16 Trades

As part of the Jezza trade in cluster **** I now need to trade in a defender to get all my premo's on field. So first trade is Humpa to Mullin. Reckon he's as good a chance as any other rookie to get a game.

Get's more complicated after that.

Could trade Johnno up to anyone up to Merrett to complete the team with 4 trades left.

But, I have Jezza and Oliver to deal with. Jezza definitely out this week, and Oliver who the **** knows.

So the question is then is it worth trading either?

5 trades left with Fyfe and Windy covering Tarryn and Cripps at M8/F6

HH @ D6
Lol, at this juncture, the version with Tarryn Thomas is my conservative iteration.

Leaves 3 trades.

My "aim for the bushes" version looks splendid on field - Ridley at D4, Dawson swung to the mids - but the trade and interchange stocks would be terrifying.

B. Humphrey + M. Johnson > S. Walsh + O. Mullin

Leaves me with $135,400 and 6 trades left to luxury upgrade W. Day to J. Sicily in Round 18 - hopefully W. Day can reach $513,600 by then.

This week’s trades complete my team, but no ruck cover. My thinking is if T. English or K. Briggs are out with a LTI, I’ll just sideways. If I had D. Cameron to cover I’d only have S. Sturt or I. Maric to bring on anyways so realistically a ~20 score instead of a donut - negligible in my opinion.

No trades. Will just loop Johnson and Windhager (provided they play) to cover Cameron. Johnson's probably a better option than Jezza at this stage anyway, lol.

Team done
3 trades left
$125k in the bank

No trades

Held Steele, let's see if he can put up a decent score again

Devon Robertspud (if he holds his spot) and Johnson loophole can cover Oliver if he's out again

I am tempted to bring Himmelberg in for cover, but I can wait

Here’s my not so complete dumpster fire of a squad.

Hold me.

Missed the 100, but still, my point stands, 3 tons including a 100 and 103, he clearly hasn’t been the player he was last year SC wise. Like I’ve said he’s obviously great for the price, but now isn’t the time to be looking for deals (don’t think people are planning on using him as a stepping stone) UNLESS you are struggling for $, then you need to take risks. I’m talking about people who can afford a $600k player choosing to get Mills instead to save money and hoping he regains last years form, now isn’t the time to save money. That extra 60 points Petracca might score in the semi finals could be the difference between you winning or not. The extra 300 points he could score for the remainder of the season of the season could be huge for rank. I may even get Mills as a M9, I’m just saying people should be wary of getting him expecting him to perform as a premo M8 so they can spend money elsewhere on luxury trades.

But next week he will be sub $400K and had an average of 97 before his injury (and that was with a somewhat questionable role)

Unless you are top 100 and going for the overall win, then he has to be heavily considered.

The upgrade from Johnson to Mills next week will leave me with around $100K in the bank, allowing me to get someone decent in when the inevitable season long injury happens.

And who's to say he doesn't come back into form. He's averaged over 110 the last two years.

With minimal trades and 9 weeks to go, I’d probably hold both Jez and Clarry.

This holding Clarry thing is becoming a bit of a ****ing joke though, it’s almost reaching meme status.

I will hopefully have enough money to go Seamus straight to Mills next week.

Mills @ sub $400k is an absolute lockity lock if he’s fit.

Pretty sold on Weedle to Riccardi donut but fwd/def loop and Bear to Macrae. I didn't go with Martin last week instead went to Neale

Johnson is next in line but pending injury might wait a couple of weeks maybe unless I get trigger happy.

Nice to see the full crew back on the field. Even Clarry, who may or may not still be alive, but given it's Monday I can pretend he'll play.

Got 9 trades, which is pretty good, but no money.

Ginbey, Mitchell next in the gun for 1-up, 1-down, but that limits the buying capacity to probably looking at LDU/Cripps/Mills "value" options.

The obvious thing missing from my otherwise OK side is the big hitters, and that really starts with Bont. I have a boost can could triple trade with Magic Johnson as well to get into Bont territory.

Still a lack of good rooks. Hmmm. I have to get the big guns ASAP, right?

Very nice team, Crowy.

Sam Walsh this week looks like good buying @ $514k

That would give you $210kish next week to get the best available.

I'll be having a look next week with Johnson $$'s and what I have left and what ever his BE works out to be whether its a hold another week or sell off which then also goes into Walsh and co and whether they will make to much if I do hold.

I need to make some sort of spreadsheet for one ****ing trade to keep a track of everything but **** that I will go blind until the end.

I am very confident Oliver will play.

This “might be unavailable” chat is only a cover

Going to try to hold some trades.

Have gone Humphrey to Cerra. 2 trades left.
Cerra has looked really good this season, barring when we played him, our most in-form mid, as a ****ing HBF’r, of which we have a bountiful supply of :drunk:

Pretty set on Humpa, Ashy and Weddle to TT, HH and Keays this week, but am interested to hear what others would do with this current team:

IMG_2493.jpeg IMG_2495.jpeg IMG_2494.jpeg

I’ve tried not looking at it in the hope it will improve, but to no avail.

TT, HH, and Keays gets me somewhat “complete” , albeit with a weak D6/M8/F6, but, with plenty of cover in Fyfe, MJ, Seamus (who will become Mills) Cinc and Windy.

Any other thoughts that don’t include trading out any of my faux premos?

If I had your squad I’d be sitting on my hands for this week.

No trades.

There’s no definitive downgrade rookies (maybe Fletcher, Hoisin, or Maric if you really need the $) and you’re basically complete with exception of TT.

Nice team bud.

No trades for now.

Robertson can sit at M8 and the Sheez at D6. Only 150k in the kitty and cash gen pretty farked. Not sure getting Mills is the right play seeing I already have Gulden and Warner. 3 Swans is too many

Ashcroft got plenty of it on the weekend and now has Richmond and WC at home...

There's a very real chance he outscores all 3.
(Not sure how that affects you $ -wise tho).

I can go Seamus, Humpa and Weddle to Walsh, Ryan and Hoisin which leaves Ashy @ M8 until I swap him to a Mills type.

It's dumb, but hear me out.

Jeremy Cameron and Humpa
For
Darcy Cameron and Tarryn Thomas.

May not sound so dumb on the surface, but I traded TT in for his 75 last week, traded him out this week for Dawnson, and am now looking at bringing him back in again as a temporary F6, mostly because I can't afford Darcy Cameron without him.

I'll have 5 trades remaining with only that F6 spot to fill with a permanent option.

Could cull a Johnson or Windhger in a few weeks and hopefully go TT to Macrae.

Worst case scenario, I sideways him to a better option once he looks to be at a maxed out price
