Trades Round 16 Trades

Alright folks, what's our best 1 trade solution to the urgent problem that is Hump de Bear?

Forget Mills, even Yeo is gonna outprice him now.

Anyone got a better idea than Tarryn?

If you cant afford anyone above 400ish id say tarryn or himmelberg are your best options.
Or wait a week and go to mills when he drops or 2 or 3 and jezza cameron once he bottoms out.

From early look, doing Matt Johnson/Seamus to Gulden/Jaspa.

88k left and 7 trades after this, will do Briggs to Walsh/Serong to finish team.

Want to get Weddle out instead but no defensive rookies or cover scares me.

He could drop to $390K with another week. Regardless that is real value if he just gets back to a 100 average. If he hits his straps again in the run home, it's incredible value. I will probably give him another week and then pounce.
He’s definitely good value but you don’t really need value at this time of the year unless you won’t be able to afford anyone else, or are considering a M9, then it’s a great pick. Personally there is no way I would risk picking him thinking he would be a keeper if I could afford an extra 70k for Walsh.

Why are people so keen on Mills? He’s got over 100 twice this season and one of those scores was 103. I get it if you aren’t going to be able to afford anyone else, but he’s clearly not the same player scoring wise he was last year if you think you’re going to be trading in a Uber premo for a bargain price.
I assume people are hoping he’ll go back to playing his best role.

Sicily is the only must have player you don’t have, hold Weddle until he comes back and then downgrade weddle, upgrade sheezel

I was planning on trading Atkins to either Ryan or Ridley but now I might trade him to Day instead which would leave me enough cash to upgrade Humphrey to a fallen premo like Cripps, Steele or Mills. None of which are great options though, they are fallen premos for a reason so that's no surprise

Out: Weddle
In: Mullin

Gives me a bank of 254k and 7 trades left. 2 rookies on field

Second trade will either be Robertson, Wilmot or Johnson out. Johnson only if he's injured.

Need a mid or Def premo. Leaning towards Ryan because of his price and because I am carrying Saad and to a lesser extent Day. Will have to trade Wilmot to get him then wait and see next week for Mills or whoever else I can afford to finish my team. This is after Wilmot to Ryan.

Might not even be worth waiting another week on Humphrey to Mills. 120 vs 167 BE, both are going to leak cash baaaaaadddd.

Midfield is less than ideal, but pretty happy with everything else.

Depends on team structure. Walsh hasn't really hit his straps either. For me, the extra $$$ is the difference between saving a trade so I think I am going to punt on Mills getting rolling in the latter half of the season. So far this has not worked out for me with Steele, though Brayshaw has come good off a low price.

Alas, I splurged on Harvey Harrison last week.

Plenty of $$ on the bench with Atkins, TT, and Johnson, and you already have Steele, why risk Mills. Better off downgrading Johnson and upgrading to an Uber premo who’s a sure thing

Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t be too keen on bringing Walsh in either if price wasn’t a concern, but I think Walsh is a far better option than Mills. Tonned up 7 times vs 2, isn’t coming off an injury, and we know exactly what his role is. But if trades or $$ are a concern then there are far worse options than Mills. But with Steele it becomes even riskier because having 2 potentially underperforming premos in your team will be huge come seasons end. I’m more so talking about people bringing him in purely because he’s a ‘bargain’ even though they could afford to spend 600k, now isn’t the time to save money and trades that you might have to fix later unless you really have to.

I had same problem and dumped Humphrey - shocking today and has Pies and Power up next

On SM-A125F using BigFooty.com mobile app

Yeah with only 4 trades left my plan was to go Seamus > Walsh and have a looped Fyfe /Hump combo at F6

However now I think it will be Seamus I'll keep for that purpose and go Hump>Serong

Team "done"
