No trades
Next week one of Gawn/ Briggs out for Mills
Maybe also:
Matty Johnno+ Dev Rob > LDU + rookie

Or some other 500k upside MID (Walsh?)

Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t be too keen on bringing Walsh in either if price wasn’t a concern, but I think Walsh is a far better option than Mills. Tonned up 7 times vs 2

Mills has tonned up 3 times.

Low score of 80 before his injury, not a bad floor for the price.

Was well on his way to 100 before the tactical sub on the weekend too.

Mills BE is 167, Rebecca 59

I’m going HBB and JVR to Jelly (roughie) and a donut.

Leaves me only Sheezel left as a rookie, Fyfe, Mitchell and Ford as cover (Ford straight swap to Jezza in 2weeks) and 4 trades

I personally can't wait to bring him in.
Missed the 100, but still, my point stands, 3 tons including a 100 and 103, he clearly hasn’t been the player he was last year SC wise. Like I’ve said he’s obviously great for the price, but now isn’t the time to be looking for deals (don’t think people are planning on using him as a stepping stone) UNLESS you are struggling for $, then you need to take risks. I’m talking about people who can afford a $600k player choosing to get Mills instead to save money and hoping he regains last years form, now isn’t the time to save money. That extra 60 points Petracca might score in the semi finals could be the difference between you winning or not. The extra 300 points he could score for the remainder of the season of the season could be huge for rank. I may even get Mills as a M9, I’m just saying people should be wary of getting him expecting him to perform as a premo M8 so they can spend money elsewhere on luxury trades.

Its a fair point. What if getting Mills at M8 allows me upgrade a rookie to Patracca the following week? Getting Mills frees up some cash in my plans to go uber premo elsewhere.

Who is the best player you think who will average the most out of these 3?

Mills
Steele
Himmelberg

Steele seems underdone .

Mills back from inj .

HH sharing chips .

Maybe mills ..but who knows.

Have you got anymore cash to get someone better.

Mills can wait a week or even 2 .

Mills for mine mate, if steele was fully fit then probably him but just seems to be carrying niggles this year. Swans are starting to get players back so mills should hopefully play mid. Was well on his way to a decent ton this week until subbed

Tough to say, I have a similar problem deciding between Mills, Steele and Cripps who are the best mids I can afford to upgrade Humphrey to this week.

None of them are going that well and I have no idea who will score more from here, no doubt I'll pick the wrong one while the other two go gangbusters.

I think he's better get than HH hammer .and better than Baz Smith etc .

Was played full back for a few weeks given he's flexable and can anywhere .

Was playing half half forward and inside vs WC .

If 🐴 played in the guts he's going 115- 120 most weeks .

He was playing West Coast though, pretty easy to ton up against them, I fully expect Steele to ton up against them next Sunday if he makes the trip.

Does Steele go to rehab under the knife if saints miss finals .?

Or is he just underdone ?

That’s what I mean, if you’re not going to have money to upgrade other players then obviously it’s worth the risk. Mills and Petracca is clearly better than Petracca and Rookie. I’m talking about people like one guy earlier with three 300k+ players on the bench and pretty much a completed team (Day and Himmelberg on field) trading Humphrey to Mills, there’s no point when you can downgrade one rookie and upgrade him to a true proven premo and still have $ to upgrade Himmel and Sheezel down the track.

I don't know if he needs any operations, maybe just a rest but we don't have any decent replacements for him at the moment so he keeps on playing.

Normally it would be a no brainer to trade him in at the price he is but I'm not sure he is worth it even at that low price, the same goes for Cripps.

Steele looks off atm .
Cripps looks worse.

NWM.
McGarth.
Nicks brother Josh .
Keys .

All in that price range..

Only got $64k mate.

Going to trade either Humphrey or Ashcroft to one of them.

I think I'll give it one more week to watch the 3 of them and re-access next week.

Yeah I think I'm leaning towards Miills too mate.

I'm going to watch the 3 of them again this week and decide next week I reckon.

Bailey Smith was another one I was looking at too but not sure about him.

yeah it's a tough one mate for sure.

I think I need one more week of data and viewing them all before deciding.

I'm moving Ashcroft to Walshy this week.

Then maybe mills next week.

Means I'll have lots of swans ...

Look what happens when I try to trade..

Must say that Butters or Macrae in my team for Humpa/JVR is extremely enticing.

Need to read the signs, carnage will come, and we will need trades in hand to remain relevant towards the end of the SC season.

No Trades!

First response is:

Humpa > Ridley
Johnson > some cheap schmuck

Of course the problem is that my viable bench depth going forward will be - checks notes - Cincotta, and my trade balance left will be... ahem - two.

Might need to go back to the drawing board on that one.
YOLO.
