Don't know how we won by 5 goals, but pretty relieved that we did, if anyhing I thought the Perth trip would tell on us in the end, but a few blokes really battled it out, the usual suspects

And you guys reckon you don't get home ground umpiring decisions. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Oh sorry to intrude on your board.

it really is no problem.

How did you go this weekend?

Well it was an awful game. The momentum in the 2nd half was probably edged by the Saints where they held the ball in their forward half for extended periods.

If we had of kicked straight in the 2nd qtr and held a 5+ goal lead at half time, it could have been a totally different result and perhaps a lot easier going than what we got in the 2nd half.

Will take the 4 points. Onto GCS next week.

scrappy affair. We shanked 'em all day but to win by 5 was surprising, the Saints ran out of gas in the end. Good teams find a way to win when playing badly, so that win was a good sign. The Saints did go in hard all day tho, credit to them for that.

A few much needed reality checks today. Our much-vaunted midfield losing the inside 50s by 3-1 at some stages, "elite small defender" Nick Smith getting smashed by Milne, and generally poor decision making from a lot of players. Very impressed with Pyke yet again, stood up in the absence of Mumford when he really had to

All I can say is thank god we're playing the Gold Coast next week. If we play well it could be a good chance for us to overtake Whorethorns percentage and put a little pressure on them.

Yep, exactly my sentiments...didn't play well at all, but still able to get the win which is always positive. Glad to get one back at them for earlier this yr...was a little concerned after watching Pies lose to carlton and hawks twice this season.

We absolutely owned Saints last year..and they looked to be on a downward spiral after that elimination final, however, with lenny back in their midfield along with some youth injection into their forward line has given them a bit of life...bit like us with our added youth, only ours is far more talented :D

Also knew Riewoldt was always gonna keep us in the game with is kicking for goal if they did get a run on :)
