Trades Round 17 trades

Just realised there's two threads.

But can't see any reason not to do:

Spargo > Bottom priced FWD
Phillips (STK) > Shuey

$100k in the bank for next week. Think that'll be going to maxing out Trac, and then the week after will go Stef > Grundy if possible.. then team is basically done.

Neale > Shuey
Christensen > Sicily

I know Neale’s score last week was probably a one off but I’m worried that he’s going to cop more attention while Fyfe is out. Shuey should average roughly what Neale puts out and he’s just so cheap. Watch as these trades backfire spectacularly.

I've somehow arsed a high AF ranking by randomly trading players in and out all year, mostly injury forced but ended up with this. I am stuck as to what to do from here on though as I haven't played this format for 7-8 years and it's changed a lot since then. Is it just a matter of shuffling deckchairs from here, as in trading on-field players in and out depending on opposition match ups etc or is keep downgrading bench rookies and upgrading premo's to better premo's the way to go?

Anyway, I wouldn't mind some trade suggestions. 15k available.

Asked in the other thread already, but best defender under 622k to complete my team at D6?

Personally, I'd cash in Waterman and get in Laird for Taranto by swinging Sicily fwd. Then focus on cash to go Sinclair > Grundy. Danger should start scoring better with Menzel back this week

Same same I reckon. If I had to pick one I’d probably go Hurley but I don’t think there is much between them.
Leaning toward Hurley too, if Shannon is as influencal as he was yesterday then teams will start to put some effort into him. What role does Hurley play? Is he a KPD or does he play loose? Noticed that he mainly needs loads of marks to score well. There's nothing I love more than watching one of my players rack up +6's across HB so if I've got that to look forward to I'm in

My first year, so I'm not in a position to hand out advice, but looks like you've structured really well by having plenty of DPP and great bench cover/cash gen. Reckon Macrae would be on your radar a week or 2 after he's back, maybe Neale needs to be looked at because of tagging, Jelwood has been good. Not sure on Adams yet, could be a smart move, same as Danger. I'll be looking at those 2 closely this week, Dustbin too.

Trade targets in order of my personal preference would be:

Sinclair - Grundy
Taranto - Westhoff
Hurn - Laird

(actually you'd probably want to trade Taranto to Laird first by swinging Sicily forward then.. if you feel up to it.. swing Sicily back to the backline to upgrade Hurn to Westhoff).

Then tidy up your midfield by grabbing Macrae, Jelwood etc when you're ready to go.

Awesome plan, thanks FBI. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Which one is better:

1.
Fritsch -> Lynch (via Sicily FWD)
Cunico -> Gaff
(Austin or Lynch on field)

2.
Fristch -> Ahern (BE of 14, nets me over 200k, should score similar)
Cunico -> Crouch
(Ahern on field)

The second feels like the wisest option given Ahern will go up a fair bit in price, but getting Gaff in is pretty appealing!

PLZ HALP

I'm stuck. Obviously I need to upgrade NN and Fritz, but I'm kinda stuck right now on how (bringing in Laird last week left me 3k in the bank)

I read it as upgrading both Fritz and NN.....I might get shot down here, but a downgrade from Fritz>Billings makes you cash, Billings last 3 average is around 94, then maybe look at Ahern + NN>Grundy after a couple of weeks. In the meantime lose Smith and Duman, gain a little more cash and have a couple more rooks that are playing and generating moolah
