Damn those scores are disgusting when you list them like that. I’m on a tight budget after going Sauce to Grundy which is an upgrade and a half. I just think Dusty has to pull his finger out at some point and I only need him to avg 100 as M8. I’ll then trade the biggest spud out of Dusty/Parker/Rocky in order to bring in old mate Macrae. Shuey is also a consideration, probably a safer pick in terms of his role and the fact that he actually tackles. Who would you pick out of Shuey or Dusty? Or anyone else cheaper than Dusty?Think people who are going to Dusty this week might be going too early on him. Last time he played Adelaide he got a 127 and his only other 110 scores were against Carlton and Brisbane with his other ton against Collingwood who give up a stack of points. Every other team he's gone 93 or under against. Scores this season look like this:
Carlton 110
Adelaide 127
Hawthorn 67 (Top 8 contender)
Lions 111
Melbourne 73 (Top 8 contender)
Collingwood 101 (Top 8 contender)
Fremantle 93
North 48 (Top 8 contender)
West Coast 73 (Top 8 contender)
Saints 82
Bombers 93
Geelong 76 (Top 8 contender
Swans 90 (Top 8 contender)
Adelaide 114
Every team bar the Pies who he barely tonned up against, he's scored 90 or below with an average of 75.4 against top 8 contenders. That's actually below or close to par with what he's priced at, at the moment.
Next 7 games are:
GWS (Top 8 contender)
Saints (scored badly against them last time but should still probably go above 90 or ton up)
Pies (Top 8 contender but give up a lot of points)
Cats (Top 8 contender)
Gold Coast (should ton up)
Bombers (more restrictive in recent weeks)
Bulldogs (more restrictive in recent weeks)
Could probably go 4 out of 7 tons, but would be looking at 3 if he plays too much forward. He definitely is worth a look, but can't see him going 110 for the rest of the year, which is what you want from a top 8 mid
You're an idiot. I dont know why. You're just an idiot. Its so crazy it just might work. But your still an idiot.Look i know it is almost certainly a stupid idea, but i need someone to set me straight and slap me a few times.
Hugh McCluggage - 3 Round average 101
- 111, 102, 91
Only 1 score under 80 in his last 6 games not including an injury affected 28
Playing at a fantasy friendly UTAS stadium this week, big ground which should suit him and i can't get up to an uber permo but don't want to field Logan Austin and am seriously considering it.
Now please call me an idiot and open my eyes to how stupid of an idea this is.
Yea cheers for that... I thinkYou're an idiot. I dont know why. You're just an idiot. Its so crazy it just might work. But your still an idiot.
Dont know mate its not what I would do, but then that could be a good thing. Have got in to trouble playing the mid pricer game so trying to stick to clear rookie/premo stuff, but then I get people like Dusty and Danger who aren't so premo this year so....
In short I don't like it because it smells like trouble, but it just might work. Its a risk obviously, but if you have to take it...
EDIT: Just checked his scores out prior to that. That should be enough of a reason. Unless he has had some sort of roll change, its a crazy, stupid, deplorable, f**ked up, silly, stupid, crazy idea. You're an idiot. But do it. But don't.
DOUBLE EDIT: Disclaimer - I did pick him up in draft, so thats why I dont think its ridiculous. I just wouldnt do it in classic.
I'm thinking about grabbing dusty as Bench cover soon
*cough*Which one is better:
1.
Fritsch -> Lynch (via Sicily FWD)
Cunico -> Gaff
(Austin or Lynch on field)
2.
Fristch -> Ahern (BE of 14, nets me over 200k, should score similar)
Cunico -> Crouch
(Ahern on field)
The second feels like the wisest option given Ahern will go up a fair bit in price, but getting Gaff in is pretty appealing!
*cough*
I have Dow and Austin who are plump for an upgrade/downgrade. But yeh, defense upgrades will be next target.Option 1 for me you poor sickly thing you ....
Although you are paying a high price for Gaff, he is in form. Need to find cash to upgrade defenders though.

Me for 4 years: "Simpson is too old. I can't rely on him to play 23 games." Meanwhile continues to average high 90s for years.I'll be spewing if Simpson misses again. I can't believe the week I bring him in (never been a Simpson owner) he misses his first game in 3 seasons
Genuinely conflicted over to have as F6 out of Trac and Danger when he gets forward status.
How come?
Petracca only 4 scores over 80
Danger only 4 scores under 80.
I’m trying to work out how to get Danger in if he gets DPP next week.
Current forwards are
McLean - keeper?
Devon - keeper
Hoff - keeper
Wingard - keeper
Rocky - keeper?
Walters
And de Goey at M8.
Ahern on the bench.
Also need to get Heeney in!
I guess the worse performer out of Wingard, Rocky, Walters and JdG. But Danger is a still a stud!
De Goey seems the most vulnerable, especially if Danger gets his mid time back due to Menzel coming in again. Heen isn't necessary if you have the rest, but Walters could make way if Freo's scoring woes continue without Fyfe and Sandi

I guess I have short term bias but Trac seems to be improving and Danger is just getting worse.
Trac 3 round average of 86, Danger 3 round average of 83.
