Round 17 Trades

Well, the Shaw betting scandal made my decision easy. No trades, then next week:

Didak/I.Smith, Hibberd OUT
Callinan, Suckling IN.

I'd probably wait another week to bring Suckling in if you have cover. Freako has his BE at 141 for next week, although against the Dees anything is possible given we don't really press.

I'll be trading Heater out for him in Round 19. Also hoping Sam Fisher will drop to around 310k by Round 19.

Given my lack of cash, the Shaw Sideways trade, is difficult. Ive got it down to 2 players.
Rawlings- Still a bye to play, turnover merchant, scores ok against who is left, slightly worried about JS!
Duffield- The Left-(duf )field choice for me. No byes left, and has still scored well, Freo fighting hard for a finals and will be crucial to dockers, still has solid scores when considering position.

Stiffy Johncock?

Never posted my full team before but I wouldn't mind some feedback (ranked 3815th). Finally completed, only one trade left as cover for emergencies however:

Backs - Gibbs, Scotland, Deledio, Rawlings, Enright, Goddard, Broughton; Puopolo, McKernan Toy

Mids - Murphy, Boyd, Redden, Swan, Ablett, Hodge; Mzungu, Prestia, Jacobs

Rucks - Cox, Sandilands; Lobbe, Keeffe

Forwards - Franklin, O'Keefe, Fyfe, Chapman, Harvey, Sylvia, Petrie; Howe, Lynch, Dahlhaus

I'm aware of the Carlton bye depleting my stocks and if I haven't used it by then, will reserve my trade to most likely go Pendlebury for Murphy. I also traded in Redden this week over Pendles for uniqueness in this week's league match (1st V 2nd).

Please judge me!

Without seeing the rest of your team, why would you trade Riewoldt out now??

Saints are turning things around, and he looks like he is aswell!

Adcock to shaw on the other hand looks a winner. Shaw has been up and down in years gone by, a lot more consistant in 2011

lucky i didn't trade on a Thursday night
close call :p

I Smith -> Brennan:eek:
Puopolo / Adcock -> Suckling / Broughton
4 trades left

Backs: Goddard, Lids, Gibbs, Fisher, Enright, Suckling/Broughton, Heppell
Puopolo/Adcock, Toy, Howard
Mids: Swan, Pendles, Ablett, Mitchell, Murphy, Boyd
Mzungu, Prestia, Jacobs
Rucks: Cox, Petrie
Smith, 80k
Fwds: N Riewoldt, Franklin, Okeefe, Goodes, Higgins, Fyfe, Brennan
Sylvia, Richardson, J Tippett

If I trade Puopolo, Jacobs would have to play rd19 which seems pretty safe.

Can someone give me a hand here?

Option 1: prestia -> fyfe

Option 2: prestia -> pavlich
Both are good options. Both have been consistent scorers all year. As a Fyfe owner I'd recommend him although I worry about him lasting the year out (dodgy shoulders, fatigue being 2nd year player). Pav is probably the safer option, although Fyfe could score more if he stays fit. Really is toss of the coin stuff though. In the end I'd go for Fyfe.

How do we feel about the Bionic Man? I'm thinking:

Douchbag -> Malceski
Z. Smith -> Jolly

Are these guys over their injuries??

Can a Freo fan shed some light on what role Duffield has been playing in the last few weeks?

First 7 rounds - 64 avg
Next 7 - 90+ avg

That's all who I can afford for the **** ATM.

From living in WA i get to watch plenty of fremantle games. From what i have seen there hasnt been a great change in role for Duffield throughout the year. This is why its so hard to put your finger on as to why he struggled in the opening 7 rounds he was playing a similar tole than to what he has over the last 7 rounds when he has avg 90+.

Maybe a fremantle fan may know a bit more, but i personally haven't seen him play much more than that rebounding HBF role all year.

Actually it has seemed that he has been playing further up the field. He was staying fairly deep. I am only guessing really but I have had Duffield all year so have been looking for him when I watch his games. Seen him more on ball recently

He's scored a couple of goals and increased his tackle rate substantially. He might've moved further up the ground. I was thinking the return of Hayden and Silvagni would further increase his scores but only managed a 60 when they all played together.

My other option is Rawlings who is a top 7 defender and fairly consistent with 80+. However he still has a bye to come.

I think I'm just going to have to sit Shaw on the bench for a week because Birchall and Suckling have the bye (won't take Scotland because I've got Gibbs), and trade him for one or the other next week. Hopefully Jacobs will cover ok.

Scotland, Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Broughton, Suckling, Enright - whichever one you don't have from that group. If its Suckling than maybe just sit a week and wait for his bye to past.

Didn't do any trades this week. Haven't done any for a while. Loved Ablett's 97. Brilliant when even as a premium he goes down and he picks himself right back up the next week.

Any chance Dream Team administrators will refund us a trade for the Heath Shaw debacle :confused:.

Get I just got reamed
