Serong BOG but Harry not far behind.

I'd argue Harry BOG by a mile. Was everywhere and key to keeping possession dominance for periods of the game.

Was also very clean by foot.

Serong disposed well and battled hard against his direct oppo, saved some goals but did get out muscled a few times as well. Was a good battle for him. Just think HarryMo shaved him on the game.

Both deserve BOG tbh.

Full Time. BH 13. 12 90 to Willy 10. 8 68.

Dominated them for most of the game except a disastrous third quarter where we went to sleep. Shout out to Arundell who was electric.

Harry was BOG, having a massive impact with 32 touches, 11 clearances and 3 goals. One of the few who stood up when Willy got within 6 points.

Serong very closely behind. He’s the complete player at this level – elite disposal, elite defensive craft and versatile. His link play was critical.

Ramsden continues his development as a De Koning type ruck. His influence at stoppage is immense, although he needs to get stronger.

Phillips was very good with his intercept marking.

Mackenzie started with 12 touches in the first quarter and looked a class above. Went to sleep in the second and third, but was important in the fourth.

Ryan was really good defensively and won a heap of the ball but some of his disposal was atrocious.

Seamus had a good game although I thought his typical defensive efforts were uncharacteristically lacking.

Hustwaite/Stephens had solid games without being outstanding. Disappointing third quarters though.

McCabe had some really good moments and moves like an AFL player but wasn’t prolific.

Scaife was quiet apart from a purple patch in the second where he kicked two goals from 50.

Tucker is a very promising for such a raw prospect. His forward craft is surprisingly good and he has really improved.

Sully was decent. If he kicked straighter, he could have had a big day.

DGB absolutely lost the plot in the third where his opponent kicked three goals on him (6 overall – 5 on him). He consistently has these defensive lapses in otherwise defensively sound games.

Tucker has definately improved and i hope we give him another year if possible.

Tucker is definitely worth more time as a developing ruck. His physical improvements this year ie body shape and endurance have been awesome. He is a lump of a lad who deserves more investment for at least another 2-3 years. Could be great insurance coverage.

Good performance most covered already I thought that was Stephens best game for a while. Won’t save him but hope he gets an injury free run at it somewhere. I’m onboard the tucker train. He’s got decent skills and some forward nous he needs to get at least 3 more years to put in size and keep developing. Not to say he will be Max Gawn, but he played a few games in year 2 and then 3 half seasons years 4-6 before first full season in year 7. Tucker joined us MSD last year and Ramsden the year before they are both tracking well.
