Would suggest the future of a few Tigers are based on the outcome of this game. Macca, Pickett, Miller and Grimes are just not up to it. If we lose, they can be let go and we play kids. If Mini can't get a handle on Wingard and Sicily with a win, then he can pack his bags too. Put it back on the players. Lose this = season over. That simple.

What about our better players though? Prestia, Hopper, Taranto and Bolton have been obliterated in there. What is their future, cos this midfield mix is never going to challenge the top 4 and weve commited long term to it.

At the game a couple of things stand out from this dog shit first hal.

1. We lack any leg speed in the middle

2. The lack of anyone able to at least compete in the forward line is diabolical. Sicily killing us.

3. It’s time for some of the old brigade to move aside for some youth, been saying for a few weeks, sonsie, Browne, Cumberland, get them the **** in.

We look awful in transition defense. Hawks don't even look great, they just aren't missing.

Bolton and Cotchin (Miller's) simple misses cost us. Had we kicked both of those we were out to a four goal lead and look to have broken the Hawks

Youthful and fast running teams tend to slow down quite a lot in the 2nd half. If we can keep up our intensity around the contest, we'll run over them.

We will probably get over them, but its papering over cracks anyway. We arent beating Melbourne or the Dogs.

But we seem to have a forward design around role players and not goal scorers. Our forward line - Baker (gun but not a forward), Riewoldt (forward but finished), Miller (VFL plodder who is tall and stands in the centre occasionally), Pickett (a competitive winger/midfielder on his last legs), Dusty (the grand final GOAT), Graham (applies pressure), Mansell (apparently applies pressure)
