I think Phillips stays given his impact coming off the bench playing only 40% TOG.

Grainger-Barras I have a feeling will be the unlucky one.

OUT: Lynch (injured), Grainger-Barras (omitted)

B: Hardwick, Frost, Jiath

HB: Scrimshaw, Sicily, Maginness

C: Morrison, Mitchell, Phillips

HF: Wingard, Gunston, Nash

F: Breust, Lewis, Moore

R: McEvoy, O’Meara, Worpel

INT: Newcombe, Shiels, Reeves, Ward, MacDonald (Sub)

Up against the flat track bullies at their home deck adding McEvoy, Day and Bruest will be handy.

In: McEvoy Bruest Day
Out: Lynch Phillips Worpel

Finn and Nash had around the same number of touches and more impact. Plus, they’re both more versatile than Worpel, who unfortunately is inside mid or bust at this stage.

Ward was proppy apparently so he might miss, in which case Worps stays.

I doubt the above will happen but it is based on output today.

Out - Lynch, Wingard (it was like he and Moore had a bet as to who could drops the most marks. Chad won)
In - McEvoy, Bruest
Finn was ordinary until that last play where he goaled, but he stays. Philips the sub again
No way Wingard will be dropped especially playing Port next week. He was ok last quarter with the two goals.

In: McEvoy, Breust
Out: Lynch, Worpel

Sorry, but James has slid backwards as a player ever since the end of 2019. Zero progression. He was awful in the PM against Richmond and equally as poor today.

Needs a wake up call. Heaps of guys are in better form and that’s what a good club does, drops players who are out of form.

Robbie Gray looked to cop a leg injury was very ordinary during match surprise if he plays.

If fit and healthy Day, Breust and McEvoy all come in

Lynch Phillips and Worpel out for me. If someone (Ward?) is injured, one of Phillips / Worpel survive

I don’t think we can play all 3 of O’Meara Finn and Worpel. They fumble, get caught and use it poorly. Until Q4 I’d have thought Finn would make way but I reckon he deserves another go after a good fourth quarter. Worpel has continued on from his poor performances from last year. It’s concerning.

Power apparently decimated after their game against the Lions and could be without Allir, Rozee, Duursma, Butters and Gray.

Those are some big outs if true.

We generally go allright over in Adelaide so we are not without a sneaky chance....

Gee, a lot of you want to swing the axe after a win.

Out: Lynch, Phillips
In: McEvoy, Breust

If Day is being brought straight back in then I'm not sure who makes way for him. I feel like Finn deserves some continuity.
Shiels to sub perhaps?
Not a matter of swinging the axe. More that clear best 22 players are likely to be available.

I don't envy the selectors, all of our 'bottom 6' players performed really well and we certainly didn't lack effort.

I think Worpel has to make way for Breust. Big call but we look worse when he's attending centre bounces & he isn't as effective in a secondary position as our other players. Wasn't great in the preseason matches either. Dominating BH might give him back a bit of confidence.

No clue who makes way for Day. Maginness's kicking may cost him but his running power and consistent efforts in the fourth quarter were fantastic.
