Bugger 40+ would have helped my nerves…. Never confident in this situation.

But we’ve played great footy. One more composed quarter and we’ve for this. Got to keep scoring. Only need 2-3 goals to put it beyond them.

That last goal was a bit unfortunate - but another very good quarter.

Lewis came alive that quarter.
Scrimshaw still killing it
DGB, Ward, McDonald all had really big moments.
Newcombe is a gun.
Nash is looking at home now.

We played that quarter without Wingard and still have Impey, Day and Bramble to come back in. Good shit

Whethered the Port players playing the man. We'd have either bent over, or retaliated and been penalised.
We did neither.

Need to still play our footy this quarter, not go defensive

I think the biggest noticeable difference this year is we are not having those end of quarter fade outs that used to happen where we'd hold and then get rolled over for a couple of goals...every single game. There will always be moments like Pepper, but the systemic break down seems to have been eradicated.

Rocky start but they managed to settle and reel it back in and get back on plan.

Such a confidence building game for Lewis and that’s no doubt because of the experience of Gunners playing along side you.

Just need to stay focused, stick to the plan and bring it home.

Sam should give give young Morrison a run-with-role on salt n' pepper, just to keep him quiet and the job is done here..!

Hopefully we have the legs left to win this. Looking a little tired, PP got a couple of goals from some very tired defending. Young side, but deserve to win this and if the effort remains then we won't die wondering.

We have been excellent tonight.
