He cover 16k’s highest of all players.I think Steelo might have squeezed out every last ounce of physical ability with that goal in the GF.

No one is concerned about the distance he’s covering. He cover 16k’s highest of all players.

Salty figured since Reid had one good hammy & cos he'd opted to take a couple of injured players into the GF ("..never take injured players into a GF" ..Mick Malthouse) there was really no need to move him. What he could have done was put Taz on Hawkins after Pods busted his shoulder. That would have been handy.
Read the post I was replying to for context before getting narky. No one is concerned about the distance he’s covering.
Except he had the 3rd highest average speed.Easier to run further when your pace is a light jog most of the time
Except he had the 3rd highest average speed.
The running stats I offered clearly show he’s not finished.Gee whiz he must have electric leg speed then
Strange the opposition players ran away from him so easily...
Classic Kappa goal post shift right here.Gee whiz he must have electric leg speed then

You don’t understand what those stats mean. Not at all, you just dont understand the basics of the conversation. He is quoting misleading stats to try a paint a dishonest picture.
"3rd highest average speed" is not proof that Sidebottom is fast, it just means he was jogging when other players were walking.
You don’t understand what those stats mean.
Sidebottom has never been fast. Never.
However, those stats show that he covered the most ground of anyone and did that at the third highest speed.
You said “easier to run further when your pace is a light jog most of the time”.
What you said is wrong. That stat proves it wrong unequivocally.
You then changed the goal posts to be some rubbish about it being strange that opposition players run away from him so easily.
See?
Afl.com.au and The AgeWhere did Kelly make these statements?
Lol what?If he was jogging the entire guy while other players were sprinting then walking, he would cover more distance at a higher average.
Why is that hard to understand? He is obviously slow, why are you arguing this? Everyone who watched our games saw he is slow.
He busts a gut every time he plays. Jeez, give the man some respect.Easier to run further when your pace is a light jog most of the time
It could be as simple as (not saying it is) we have trained all preseason in heat and in dry grounds and all if iur games to date have been at night on dewy grounds. Cox and others that wear contacts have indicated difficulty playing at night. Being the hunted teams gave gone to town on us to flood the corridor to negate JDG'S, Crisp's and Naicos influence. Clubs have adopted our game plan of speed on (except they flood their defence whereas we guard grass)Surely you need more than a three game sample before announcing their imminent demise? Is Degoey or Crisp on the precipice? Their skills and ball handling have been completely off this year too.
He busts a gut every time he plays. Jeez, give the man some respect.
You’ve been “owned” on this topic, and your poor argument exposed most emphatically by Kirby. No one is arguing that, all I'm saying is he's not fast and people are trying to argue with that
Invisible roller skates?Lol what?
That makes no sense.
You said “easier to run further when your pace is a light jog most of the time”.
So genius, if he is at a light jog most of the time, how is he also doing it at the third fastest time?
Are you arguing that his sprints when not jogging slowly most of the time are so incredibly fast that they then bring his average speed up to the average third fastest?
In between his light jogging most of the time?
Explain this to me without changing the goal posts. I bet that you can’t.
You lost me at Erin Phillips said… awful special comments person and brings nothing insightful to the table.
But as long as the Female representation percentage is right it’s all good.
And we didn't have to endure another Carlton win.Gee playing on a Thursday and losing makes for a very long week-end with little to enjoy football wise.
Only compensation is Richmond losing.

Time to move on.
