Fixture update: AFLW Week 2

The Power's Week 2 game against the Western Bulldogs will now be played at the MCG, after a fixture update confirmed by the AFL.

Bit disappointed that I can no longer go to this but it'll still be amazing for our girls to play on the MCG.

Dogs lost by 63 points to GWS yesterday, who we beat by 58 points last time, so we should win. I hope we're well in front in the last quarter otherwise the Dogs girls will get a bigger and bigger crowd behind them as the stadium begins to fill for the men's final.

There's never been a time in the existence of our AFLW team where they haven't been closer to a premiership than our AFL team. Our AFLW team is just a matter of development and getting the playing list right and then they'll be as good a chance as any team. Our AFL team is fundamentally flawed culturally and requires a paradigm shift to ever be a chance of doing anything - and that type of paradigm shift could take decades.
