I reckon Ablett will be a man on fire this weekend after his "slump" over the last couple of weeks and the comments made by Watson.
Geelong will be getting worried about there current form and will want to smash the Swans.

Ablett's my man.

Sydney vs Geelong 7.10pm Saturday at ANZ Stadium

Ablett (98) vs Sydney 85, 62, 83, 150, 126 = 101
Bartel (101) vs Sydney 75, 150, 114, 123, 137 = 120

Ablett or bartel SGMB??

what do you think?

That's a hard choice, I would probably go Bartel thinking that Selwood and Ablett will be tagged above Bartel, but that's just a personal opinion. I have had a pretty good run with captain choices but it is all a bit of a gamble. ;)

SGMB, add Mitch Clark

I havent added Mitch Clarke for the same reason that I havent (and wont) add Broughton. Mitch has averaged 123 points over his last 3 games and 117 over his last 5.

When you throw in stats like, he only averages 27.5 against the Dogs (over 2 games) or that he has averaged 93 points per game at the Gabba this year, it doesnt change anything in my opinion.

If you have Broughton or Mitch Clark and want to make them captain based on current form then do it, you will be unique. Personally I think that such choices are not based on sound or solid logic, fortune favours the brave, not the stupid.

Yes they are in good form and could get you 100+, but surely you have "safer" options? If you pick them as captain, I wish you all the best :thumbsu:

Pav/Swan/Volt in that order are the standouts this week....

Decisions decisions decisions....eny meanie.

Who the hell is going to hold Pav? Melbourne are pitiful.

im thinking didak or pavlich this week..
vs richmond and melbourne... however the fre v melb game is in melbourne

That is my thoughts, the only thing stopping me from going Pav is his TOG was average at best last week. I'm starting to get nervous on my Didak selection as well, everyone knows he is prone to off games.

Pav or Dids. I'm flipping a coin.

Yeah I think I will go safety first with Swan. I think

Going to take a risk with scotty t's awesome record. Have not had a captain score over 100 in about 6 weeks so bugger it, either way i suck balls at captain selection

Im thinking about putting Volt captain, but im worried the Saints will rest him at the end of the game if they are pumping Essendon. Anyone else think that might happen?

Im thinking Selwood.....

he has average in the last month has been 137 or somthing silly like that and has been in great form. Also Thompson would of given the players a big revving after the loss to carlton last friday night. I think they will come out strong with a point to prove and i think selwood will lead by example!

Selwood might get Kirk. I think that happened last time.

That could be an issue! He scored 124 against them earlier this year according to the thread so he still scored alright if kirk did tag him. That must of been down in melbourne tho. Could be a different story up in sydney! ill most likley end up going bartel i think
