Possible Line Up:
B: Balta Young Grimes
HB: Short Broad Vlastuin
C: McIntosh Taranto Ross
HF: Pickett Bolton Baker
F: Cumberland Martin Riewoldt
R: Nankervis Prestia Cotchin
INT: Coulthard Graham Banks Bauer
EMG: Soldo Dow Brown Mansell
Add another 3 goals to the umpsMarvel ,add a minimum of 7 goals to oppo before bounce,we just play poo there.
I will be hoping of a win though.
Makes sense but Saints always absolutely smack us at Marvel even in our Premiership years.
Speed and footskills needed .... Sonsie is in good form.
Would love to see Graham, McIntosh and Hopper make way for Sonsie, Martin and Cotchin.
Pickett back on the wing, with Bauer and Cumberland in the forward line Sonsie and Banks have the footskills to hit them on the tit. That's what you need to do at Marvel to win ... Marks inside 50.

that was his first ever beer too
One ...
Seriously though it’s so frustrating watching it not all click with the list we have. Our forward line was elite last year, and we only added to our list, but we can’t kick a winning score most weeks. Our defence has been really good, except now the past 2 weeks they’ve gotten absolutely smashed. And you’d think our midfield with all the stars in it would be good, but they’re just about the worst group in the comp.
Except for days like the last Saints game where they were all on fire and we won. Why can’t they always be like that? It’s like nothing works usually, and when it does, most times one of the other aspects breaks down. Frustrating to watch it not all click, and some kids take a step back.
I just wished we could’ve capitalised on what looks like a really good list on paper, but it just hasn’t happened, especially with Lynch’s injury. We did capitalise for 3 premierships though, so can’t complain too much I guess. This year just shows how difficult it is to be the best. We did it thrice.

and umps stole about 5 wins off us tooLynch played 4 games this year with one of them being injury affected.
Resulted in a round 1 draw against Carlton where the big fella saved the game for us. Carlton in really good form early in the season.
Beat Adelaide away which when you look at their season is a seriously good win. We were also 50 odd points up in that one.
Lost narrowly against a Collingwood team at their absolute best.
Lost narrowly against the Dogs where Lynch was on one foot for a good chunk of the game. We also played probably our best passage of footy in the second quarter.
So 1-1-2 with Lynch against really good opposition, with the Dogs match likely turning into a win if Lynch wasn't injured. This was also before Taranto/Hopper started to click (especially the former).
There was a bit of talk about the Nick Daicos injury being the biggest of the season and I had to laugh. Media campaigners clearly forgot that the best and hardest to replace forward in the comp missed basically the entire year. That's our season right there.
I reckon we'll win
