Hasn't recovered from the flu allegedly.Ryan still injured? Surprised he wouldn’t be named before DGB or Ramsden if fit
Gawn does love playing us. Great test for Reeves and Ramma.Grundy dropped.
They only have J Smith as a 2nd tall fwd/ ruck relief.
Ramma should do well at 203cm.
Long and Ramsden are in, hope Hustwaite gets a run as sub
Hustwaite didn't train today at Hawthorn and is named to play for Box Hill tonight.Long and Ramsden are in, hope Hustwaite gets a run as sub
Really? Despite Dermott admitting he'd stepped on his face in several interviews and Tallis attesting to the same.I don’t think that he made contact with his face. The player got up and showed no signs of any contact. It just shows you that the camera can lie.
Finn to Langdon for the same reasons as we tagged him last year. This is a great challenge for our midfield, as we're hoping that Day/Newcombe/Nash/Worpel combination will eventually become as formidable as the Petracca/Oliver/Viney/Brayshaw one. Perfect opportunity to take on the best and see how we measure up.I’m at the stage now where I expect us to win every game lol.
Probably getting ahead of myself.
These guys tore us a new one last time, so really fascinated to see how our midfield goes this time against a very good, physical one.
Finn to petracca is a must.
Go hawks.
All 3 have a lot to play for and still have much to prove. None have established themselves and every game is an opportunity and what an opportunity this is. Hopefully they respond to the challenge.I consider myself an optimist but Kosi, DGB & Ramsden vs May/Lever doesn’t sound like fun.
This will be interesting how they structure the 3 talls - Kozi, DGB and Rama - probably a suck it and see what happens. Nothing to lose really. Another big test for the mids but really looking forward to see how they go against arguably the best midfield in the competition. Gawn usually smashes us around the ground and if we can't avoid kicking down the line at least provide a contest and make him earn it - some unsociable rib massages wouldn't go astray.
May/Lever are great interceptors.. How well our forward line performs will be squarely on the midfields delivery imoI consider myself an optimist but Kosi, DGB & Ramsden vs May/Lever doesn’t sound like fun.
He hasn’t really gone to the powerful explosive types. Be good if he was given that task to see how he goes but I think he’s more likely to take Viney or OliverFinn to Trac a no brainer.
Hustwaite now playing BH tonight.
Daicos is explosive. He hasn’t really gone to the powerful explosive types. Be good if he was given that task to see how he goes but I think he’s more likely to take Viney or Oliver
Probably needs to mecca couple of fast leadsBut Kosi needs to relish the responsibility and lift, DGB and Ramadan need to find a way to score.
